A New World

I was just an average girl, and now I am becoming a God.
"Your serious?"
"Oh yes dear I'm very serious. I'm sorry if it's overwhelming. You must get used to being up here because you will a lot. You come up here to keep your element in good shape. Brandon you are fire and Kaia you are water. You must look after your element."
The words echoed in my head while I was in a bright room where I had to sleep. This is heaven? Where the Gods hang out and control the world. I didn't even know who to do maths, let alone control all the water on the world. Maybe this would be better for me. I didn't really know what job I wanted anyway, this would keep me occupied. I just needed answers. I woke up the next day and put on an outfit Hyacinth had provided for me. I walked outside of the thrones area, where we had been yesterday. I feel bad for Aila and Andrea. They must be worried and sad. When I get back to Earth I will explain to them all I can as quick as I can. Brandon ran up to me and hugged me.
"I'm just as confused as you are Kaia, I can't believe this all just happened."
"We are Gods now, that takes so much responsibility."
"Indeed."
Hyacinth was stood there with a confident stance.
"Your going to need a bit of training to be a proper god but you start now. You are free to travel here and back to Earth whenever you want. I will let you explore the great land and settle in. See ya later."
He walks off once again, we where getting training. That definitely assured me. If I wanted to be a god I would need to know exactly what I'm doing.I walked over to the Water Throne, I touched the armchair. This was going to be me now, I had to be mature and protect the Earth. My throne was decorated in water Lily's and was a light blue colour. I just had to see Aila and Andrea. I want them to be up here with me, I had no idea about the rules up here. I looked at turned towards Brandon.
"Why is nobody here?"
"I don't know...You look sad Kaia. Come let's just explore, take some deep breaths."
He said the assuring sentence as he walked calmly towards me. He took my hand and we walked everywhere on this place. It was filled with buildings and it was like a village. It was full with people who had wings, they were bright and happy. I'm guessing they were Angels, they must look after humans too.
"Excuse me miss, do you know where the other Gods are?"
I said it to a woman who looked kind. She had warm brown eyes and a warm brown skin tone.
She turned to me and smiled.
"Hello, they might be in the meeting hall if they aren't in their thrones. Who are you people then?"
I signalled a look at Brandon to tell him to try to answer. This woman didn't even know who we were and we were meant to be the Gods up here.
"We are the new Water and Fire Gods miss."
"Oh my goodness!"
She curtsies in front of us.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't know the new Gods were coming here yet."
"That's okay miss, no need to bow either. We aren't that important around here."
"Oh but you are! You two are very important. Sorry if I have been haggling on, the main meeting hall is over that way."
She points to just outside the village at a big, great building.
"Thank you, hope to see you soon."
She blushes and waves back at us. We start walking towards where she told us the hall was and we could pretty much see the whole building. It had a big opening as the door, an open door. We walked through and freely did so. There were no guards or anything. We had chatting, happy chatting. It was coming from the main hall I guess. There were many seats around a large table. Many people were sitting around this table, all looking calm and content.
I whispered to Brandon.
"Should we leave?"
"No, we can ask them for help."
I was still holding his hand, we had been holding hands the whole way. I squeezed his hand a little tighter, my nerves made butterflies in my tummy.
"Hello?"
He said it a bit louder and silence filled the room. Everyone turned to look at us. A woman with blonde hair spoke up.
"And who are you two?"
"Brandon Blaze and Kaia Silverstorm."
"Ah, your the new kids!"
On from there we met everyone. The old gods and important angels. They made us feel comfortable and told us more about this "world up above". The new Gods were in a room next to it apparently. So we went in the room and met all the Gods too. It was nice to feel welcome and to fit in. It was starting to feel like a second home to me.
