Blair drove down the streets towards her shop first, so she could portal through and go home faster. She reached her shop and only noticed a few people out on the streets, they were opening shop for the day. Blair locked the door behind her and she used the portal. She opened the door at the bottom of her stairs and entered her house. A strong sent of waffles and maple syrup wafted from the kitchen and filled the house.
"Anastasia," she called out.
A loud squeal erupted from the kitchen. Blair ran in to see what happened.
"You naughty, naughty witch," remarked Anastasia. "You finally did the deed with your handsome billionaire."
Blair hid her face behind her hands. "Does that make a naughty person?" she asked.
Anastasia laughed. "Hell yeah." She leaned over the counter and grinned. "So, how was it?"
Heat flushed Blair's cheeks. "Er-"
"Don't feel shy now," rebuked Anastasia. "Details woman, details."
"Details about what?"
Both Blair and Anastasia screamed when they heard the unexpected third voice join their private conversation. Blair turned to find Nate standing behind them.
Nate chuckled. "Sorry," he said as he joined them in the kitchen and grabbed one of Anastasia's waffles.
"What brings you by?" asked Blair. "I thought you had work to clear up."
"I did," said Nate. "But then, I got bored and decided to check in on you two- had to make sure you didn't burn anything down."
"I was about to set you on fire!" astonished Anastasia. "You know it's not wise to sneak up on Lightwood witches."
Nate rolled his cobalt blue eyes. "So, details about what exactly?"
"Blair slept with Maddox after they went on a date yesterday," said Anastasia.
Nate quirked a brow. "Last time I was here, you were dreading telling him about your secret," he said.
"I know, I know," Blair groaned. "I couldn't help myself."
Anastasia leaned on the counter. "I met him too," she told her brother. "He really is as hot as they say."
Nate grabbed his sister's cup of coffee and downed the caffeine. "So, are you two like dating now?"
"I think so," said Blair. "He told me to come over again."
Anastasia sighed dreamily. "How sweet."
Nate took another sip. "As long as he doesn't do anything stupid, I'm good with it."
Blair took a bite of the waffled before she jumped off the stool. "I need to get dressed and head to work," she told them. "You're welcomed to stay however long you like."
"Thanks," said Nate. "I might stay tonight."
Blair ran up the stairs and quickly changed her clothes into more comfortable attire; simple plain pink t-shirt and faded blue jeans. She grabbed her purse and put on a pair of white wedges. "I'll see you kids later," she said from the portal door.
"Bye," said Anastasia.
"Have a good day," Nate said as she stepped into the portal and arrived at her shop in no time.
