Jon was still reeling when he heard Arya come in . A few hours had passed by now and Theon and Arya had just returned to Winterfell. Jon had sent some Stark men to go and inform all parties looking for Sansa that she had returned to Winterfell and had been waiting for them the whole evening previously . He did not let on that anything had happened to Sansa. He did not want any outsider to know that she had been missing the whole night. He made sure the men he sent were ones that would practice full discretion as he did not want anyone outside the immediate family and the masters to know Sansa's condition .
Arya : Where the hell was she ? Why didn't mother send someone to tell us she was home ? Theon and I scoured everywhere for her ! She's always been such an idiot. I guess her time in Kings Landing didn't teach her anything. { She finally notices Jon crumpled up in the chair crying } Jon ? Jon what's the matter ?
Jon : { face red , trying to compose himself } It's Sansa . She is not ok . I didn't want anyone outside the family to know what happened. I found her outside the gates , they discarded her like trash . She's been badly beaten and the next few days will be critical . Who would do this ? Why would anyone do this ? They meant to do it and for us to find out , otherwise why would the leave her in front of the gates ??
Arya : What ?? Why ? let me go see her . Where is she ?
Jon : She is in Aunt Catelyn's room . Go be with your mother she is understandably distraught at what happened to Sansa.
Arya enters Catelyn's room and she is sitting in the bed next to Sansa just holding her hand .
Catelyn : Arya ?
Arya : Mother . How is she ?
Catelyn : { Sobbing } . Not good , look what they did to my baby ! { More sobbing} . Oh why ? why did this happen to her ? { Sobbing inconsolably }. Who would do this ?
Arya : { Tears in her eyes}. She's strong mother . She's a Stark , she will get through this , we will be with her every step of the way . And whoever did this , I will gut myself .
Arya sits down next to her mother .
Robb had just entered the courtyard when he ran into Master Luen .
Master Luen : Your Grace , if I may .
Robb : Yes Master, I'm looking for my sister Lady Sansa right now , may we speak later ?
Master Luen : Your Grace , might I suggest you speak to your Hand before seeing Lady Sansa ? In fact I strongly suggest it .
Robb : Alright. { seeming a bit confused}
Robb enters Jon's chambers . Jon is sitting in his chair , head in his hands . Face obscured.
Robb : Jon , when did you get back ? Where was she ? I'm going to completely restrict her going out for the next month to teach her a lesson .
Jon : { Looking up , eyes completely red rimmed } Robb stop.{ whispering}
Robb :{ Robb looking at Jon } What happened ? Have you been crying ? and drinking ?{ he has a half drunken glass at the foot of the chair } Tell me right now what happened ! The men that came to get me said she was fine that she returned just as soon as we had left .
Jon : She's not fine , she's not fine at all . I found her at the gates , they left her there in a heap , like discarded trash . She's been badly beaten , I think they left her for dead , I'm not sure . They wanted us to find her there , otherwise why leave her at the gates ? Why ? What is the reason ? Who would do this ? There is no reason to hurt Sansa personally . Nobody even knows she's back . Why hurt her like this ? I couldn't recognize her face . Thank God she's alive . { tears are streaming down his face }
Robb : { He slumps down against the wall } . I'm going to kill them , I'm going to kill all of them , whoever was involved . { Getting angrier and angrier } I swear on the Gods I'm going to kill all of them .
Jon : Control yourself .We have to think of Sansa first . Nobody can know what happened to her. If anyone finds out she was missing the whole night and she was attacked , her future is over . I'm just as angry as you , and they will all pay . We have to protect her and her future . { Jon looking more and more agitated , after a long pause }
Robb , there is one more thing. Master Luen thinks she was violated . We need to protect her now , this cannot leave our family .
Robb starts to vomit .
