1: First Encounter

A year later..

Joy is busy choosing her breakfast over the displayed food. She puts sausage, scrambled egg and spaghetti carbonara on her plate. Today, Joy has breakfast at Hyatt Hotel as her parents visited her during the holiday.

Her eyes suddenly see Sungjae, her bias in VISION, and Eunkwang have breakfast together at the corner of the room. She rubs her eyes, blinking them a few times, to check if it's real. 'Are they having a holiday in Melbourne?,' she wonders. 'I should take a photo with them. It's been long since I want to meet them.'

VISION is Joy's most favourite K-pop group. The members are Eunkwang, Minhyuk, Changsub, Sungjae and Ilhoon. She gets to know VISION last year after her friends sent her VISION's songs back when she was still in senior high school.

She liked the song 'Second Confession' then she watched the MV and found Sungjae. He looks charming and handsome in Joy's eyes, that's why she likes him. His act also makes her laugh as he's funny, kind and playful on camera. But more than anything, there's something in Sungjae's eyes that attract Joy's attention. They look sad, no matter how wide Sungjae smiles when he sings.

"Hi.. Aren't you Eunkwang and Sungjae of VISION? Can I.. take a picture with you guys? I am a fan." Joy shutters as she greets the VISION members.

"Oh sure. Let's take a picture." Eunkwang replies. Eunkwang takes over Joy's phone and takes a dozen of pictures of them playfully.
"Here," he says while returning Joy's phone.

"Thank you, guys. I really appreciate it. I'm glad that we have finally met. I've been dreaming to meet VISION, especially Sungjae-ssi because he is my bias." Her eyes are focused on Sungjae before she remembers Eunkwang and looks at him.

"But I'm also glad to see Eunkwang-ssi as well since I also like you because you're funny and your voice is angelic. Your voice is the best," she continues.

"Thank you for the compliments," Eunkwang says.

"..." While Sungjae remains silent. He tries to understand the situation in the dream that he gets into.

The mood becomes awkward, while Joy still stands in front of them since she wants to stay with them, but not knowing what to do. 'Should I go to my parents' table? But I want to talk with them and know more about Sungjae,' she thinks. "Can I join here?" She finally asks.

Eunkwang looks at Sungjae as if he's asking the same question to him, knowing Sungjae doesn't feel comfortable with strangers when he isn't at work. However, Sungjae only shrugs.

"Have a seat," Eunkwang decides while pointing to the empty chair.

Joy pulls the chair and starts to eat her breakfast. The mood remains quiet and awkward, making Joy regrets her decision.

Joy clears her throat. "This is my first time to see VISION in real life. Because I couldn't go to your performance in Melbourne last time. So, I'm so grateful to get to see you two right now," she says, trying to change the mood while eating her breakfast.

"We're happy to get to see our fan too," Eunkwang responds with a warm smile.

"Ahh, that's why I am not familiar with your face. You are not part of LIGHT, are you?" Sungjae asks suddenly. LIGHT is the name of VISION fandom. Sungjae remembers a lot of his fans' face and he doesn't think he has seen her before.

"Yeah, you are right. I don't think I deserve that title since I'm just being a kind of passive fan, I guess? Sorry," Joy feels guilty. "But I swear I love your songs! I listen to VISION songs every day." Joy says and gesture swear with her hand

"It's okay. Just that if you join, we will get to know you better. Ya Sungjae-ah! Don't intimidate her like that!" Eunkwang scolds him lightly.

"I am not. I'm just making sure that I remember it right, hyung. Sorry.. Hmm what's your name?" Sungjae wants to mention her name, but he realises he hasn't known her name yet.
