16: Telling the Truth

Sungjae just realised that his members have paid attention and even worried about him. "Aniyo, it's okay," Sungjae says. He continues, "The way you guys treat me has been more than enough of help for me. I'm really grateful that everyone has taken care of me well all these times. I don't think it's necessary to share my problem since nothing can be done to solve it. it'll just make you guys worried."

"What kind of problem do you have that you think it cannot be solved? Just tell us about it. We'll do our best to help you out," Changsub replies.

"If not, tell us how did you know about Changsub's nodules?" Minhyuk adds.

It's been 3 years since they work together and Sungjae can see that the members genuinely care for each other like a family, so he thinks now is the right time to tell them about his ability.

"Arasseo, I'll tell you about it. But, don't be surprised." Sungjae warns. "I have a weird dream ability.." he starts and he tells them about his ability with a lot of explanation since it always makes people confused. He also explains that it's how he knows about Changsub's condition and had the same dream as Ilhoon's last time. Of course, the members do not believe him at first, but in the end, they do. He also tells about how hard nightmares are for him lately which has caused him not to have enough sleep.

"Hyung, I'm sorry for making you sleep alone. I don't know that you have a problem with your sleep. Were I know about it, I would have stayed with you," Ilhoon says.

"Don't be ridiculous. I am happy to sleep alone. I have more privacy than anyone here. I don't want to cause you awake from whatever I do in my sleep too. You make a great choice," Sungjae explains to Ilhoon.

"Woah, seriously. How can you handle it on your own all these times?" Changsub asks curiously.

"I don't. That's why I'm still having it." Sungjae replies.

"I mean you manage to hide it from us for 5 years. You should've told us earlier so we could help you," Eunkwang replies.

"How can I when we just knew each other? You didn't believe me either when I told you just now. Do you think you'll believe me when I told you earlier? I can't add more burden to this group either," Sungjae answers. "Anyway, as I've told you before, there's nothing you can do to help me. I've born with this condition and get used to it too, but the haters' dream these few weeks are just too much for me," Sungjae continues.

"Let's sue them," Ilhoon says. "Including the VISION's malicious commenters too. Perhaps they will stop dreaming about you. We never know until we try it, right?"

"I'll ask the director to put legal action against them," Eunkwang says.

"Gomawoyo, hyung. Thank you for everyone for listening and believing it too. Please keep it secret from anyone else. I don't want people to pity me because of my condition," Sungjae says.

"But, can't we do something to help you with that? I want to help you out," Minhyuk asks.

"Just wake me up when I seem to have nightmares," Sungjae replies.

"Call. Let's do that for Sungjae, guys," Minhyuk replies. The others nod, agreeing to what Mihyuk says. Sungjae smiles seeing their reaction. He can't be more grateful to have them as a family in South Korea.

"Jinjja gomawo dadeul (really thank you, all)," Sungjae says sincerely.

"Anytime."

"By the way, you said you do things consciously in others' dream, does it mean you tease me consciously in my dream too? I think I do still get bullied and teased by him even in my dreams," Changsub asks curiously. The others look at Sungjae curiously.
