14: Peniel's weird advise

"So, what happened?" Peniel asks straight away when he sees Sungjae. Sungjae tells some stories about his meeting with Joy, but of course, Peniel is not satisfied with Sungjae's story, so he bombardiers him with questions. While Sungjae hides the fact that he got hugged Joy and got emotional because it's too embarrassing to be told.

"Woah, Sungjae, it's really unbelievable that you met Carp on the street. It must be fate," Peniel says to Sungjae. Peniel refers to the girl as Carp as Sungjae won't tell him the girl's name even after asking thousands of times. Sungjae said he doesn't want to get teased with the girl's name. Typical of Sungjae – being weird.

"Geez. What do you mean fate? Now I can only hope she doesn't tell people about your number."

"Don't worry about that. I don't think she'll do that, looking at the fact that she has kept it secret for so long. Why would she spread it now?"

Sungjae shrugs. "Because she knows it's really sent to me?"

"Geez if she does that, it'll be very disappointing of her."

"That'll be fair for me since I've made her disappointed with my lies."

"Ya! That's because you want to keep it private. It doesn't mean she can make a bigger problem for you," Peniel protests. He doesn't want anyone to hurt Sungjae.

"Actually, you'll be the one in trouble, hyung. Not me. It's your number. I will feel bad for you if that happens."

"Ah, right. I forget about that. Let's just hope it doesn't happen," Peniel agrees. He doesn't want to curse all Sungjae's fans who text or call him if it happens. But there's no need to think too much about it, since it hasn't happened anyway. "But anyway, she seems to be a nice person, from your story. I don't think she'll do something bad for us."

"Well, she is indeed nice and caring, but it's dangerous to be with her. She can tell when I'm lying and it's hard to hide the truth. I get nervous every time she asks about anything related to my dream," Sungjae answers.

"You're the one who started this, so it's natural if she wants to know about the number. Why would you be nervous when she asked about it?"

"Perhaps because she can correctly guess what happened and I know I can't hide anything from her even when I want to?" Sungjae wonders.

"That's great then. She'll be a perfect fit for you who is so mysterious about your own problem. I believe she did it because she cares about you. Perhaps she can see what happen to you even when you've covered it well with your act."

Sungjae remembers when Joy hugged him and told him not to give up. That moment is the most comforting moment for Sungjae because it's just the right amount of support that he needed at that time. "Well, perhaps. But, still, I can't tell a fan about my weird ability. We don't know what will happen if she knows. I don even let my members know about it yet."

"You're right, but I hope she considers you as a friend by now. I'm just thinking that if she can make you be honest about your situation, then it'll good for you. Actually, it scares me every time you say you're fine when you don't look like one," Peniel says.

"Hyung, it's because I'm really okay. Why would you be worried about me? I've told you everything and it's always the same, so what else should I tell you about? It's not that telling you will solve the problem," Sungjae says.
