"You know you fine?" Mir smirked pulling me to him

"Am I?" I raised my eyebrow

"Hell yeah! Ain't no bitch in the world got shit on you" He kissed me making me blush hiding my face in his chest

"Don't gas her up nigga. She already got a big ass head"Blast laughed

"Keep talking shit Kevontae" I warned him

"Watch it she gonna stab yo ass in yo sleep" Wooski told him and I just shook my head

"Come here" Mir grabbed my hand leading me back to my room closing the door behind him

"What's wrong?" I asked him taking a seat on my bed

"Nothing! Just wanted some alone time with my girl" He smiled taking a seat next to me "Can't believe you really moving"

"I know. It's like a bittersweet moment. Like I want to get the fuck away from these people but I don't wanna move out of Chicago" I pouted

"You ugly when you pout" He laughed

"Fuck you" I rolled my eyes pushing him

"Shit when? We got a few minutes before they come looking for us" He pulled me on him kissing my neck

"Mir" I moaned lowly trying to pull away but he wasn't letting up. "Mir if my brothers come home you dead"

"You worth dying for" He shrugged kissing my lips making it hard to resist a make out session

I pulled away putting my forehead on his looking into eyes

"You're suppose to be helping me finish packing"

"I will. I just needed to be with you for a minute because ever since we became official I haven't had no time alone with you unless we sleeping" He said pecking my lips

"Come on" I got up from his lap holding my hand out for him to take

"Where we going?" He placed his hand in mine and I pulled him to his feet leading him out my room

"Guys we'll be back" I told them but of course they wasn't paying me no mind.

"So you gonna kidnap a nigga?" He raised his eyebrow

"Boy ain't nobody kidnapping you" I laughed walking out the building onto the chilly Chicago streets. "I want some from the store and I want you to come with me but if you don't want to you don't gotta come with" I shrugged

"Nahla you know I ain't letting you go to no store alone when it's about to get dark out"

"Then come on" I smiled wide walking with him right behind me

As I walked a few more steps a nice BMW truck pulled up next to us parking.

"Nahla let's go" Mir said grabbing my hand pulling me down the block

"Mir you're hurting me" I snatched my hand from him as we crossed the street

"My bad just wanna hurry and get back before it gets dark" He said but some about his tone was off but I ain't pay him no mind.

The rest of the way to the store was silent besides the cars passing by since Mir was all up in his phone not even paying me no attention.

Walking into the store Jimmy greeted us like always

"If it ain't my favorite couple" He sent us a smile

"Hey Jimmy" I laughed making my way down the Aisle grabbing everything I wanted before walking towards the register "Where Polo?" I asked him since he was no longer around me

"He left out but gave me money to cover everything" Jimmy said giving me a small smile "Here"He handed me my things

"Thank you Jimmy" I grabbed the bags from him walking out seeing Mir put his phone back in his pocket

"Ready?" He asked me taking the bags from me

"Why you leave out? And why you acting weird right now?" I asked cause his whole vibe was off "Told you that if you ain't wanna come then don't come" I shrugged walking away

"Man don't do this shit right now" He said catching up to me

"Whatever" I told him not even bothering to continue the conversation. I simply picked up from pace trying to get back in my house

"Nahla slow down" Mir semi yelled

"Nah speed up" I yelled back reaching my block.

"Baby" I heard him say as he grabbed my elbow making me stop in my space turning to him

"Yes?" I rolled my eyes

"Stop don't be mad" He tried to kiss me but moved my face out the way

"Why you acting hella weird?" I question him

"It's not what you think I promise"

"And what exactly do you think I think it is?" I raised my eyebrow

"That I'm talking to hoes" He laughed

"It's not funny but I wasn't even worried about no hoes. I was worried because your whole tone and vibe changed once you seen that truck pull up"

"It's nothing"

"Nah it's something because you got hella paranoid once you seen that truck. Are you in trouble Jamir?" I asked him calling him by his Gov name so he knew I wasn't playing

"Jamir? Tf you mad at a nigga?"

"Don't play man. Are you in trouble or some? Was that car coming for you?"

"Nah. I don't know who that was. Just ain't wanna risk it being someone cause I never seen that car" He shrugged but some told me it was more to it but I ain't feel like going back and forth with him anymore

All I wanted was to eat my damn snacks.

"If you say" I shrugged walking away from him continuing my walk home leaving him behind

"You don't believe me do you?" He asked which made me stop in my tracks turning back to face him

"Mir you haven't gave me any reason not to so until you do some foul shit I'll believe and trust you" I sent him a smile and he sent one back walking towards me grabbing my hand

We walked the rest of the way holding hands joking around but as we got closer to my building I seen that the truck was still there but this time there was a man leaning against it staring at my building

"Who the fuck" I said frowning

"Shit" Mir whispered once were a few steps away from him but some wasn't right. He looked familiar "Nahla wait" Mir pulled me back grabbing me forcing me to look him in the eyes

"What Mir?"I asked him seeing that his face now held so many different emotions which instantly caused my heart to speed up

"Listen baby I promise I wanted to tell you and I promise I didn't want you to get hurt" He started ranting which was confusing me even more

"What the fuck are you talking about Jamir?"

"You sure you wanna do that?" The man laughed getting off the car

"Man shut the fuck up" Mir snapped at him before turning to me "Nahla that's your"

"I'm your father baby girl" The guy cut Mir off walking closer

"Wait what?" I turned to face him and there he was with light shinning directly on his face which brought out all his features there was no denying it

That man is my father
