What Went Down with Wyatt

The group walked into the restaurant and were greeted by the pleasant smell of freshly baked bread and herby pasta sauce. This didn't help the consistent grumbling of Noah's stomach.

"Oh for the love of God, someone get that kid some food." Jaeden said, rolling his eyes- clearly irritated by the background noise. Y/N laughed softly and she spotted Andy sitting at a nicely decorated table towards the back of the restaurant, she waved over at him and gestured for the group to come with her. They arrived over at the table and Jaeden gave Andy a hug.

"Nice to see you again!" Jaeden told him as he sat down beside him, starting to catch up with him. The rest of the group sat down at the table and Noah grabbed the menus as Y/N sat down beside him.

"Food, food, food!" Noah demanded as he rummaged through the menu, hunting for something to fill the hunger hole in his stomach. y/N laughed and shook her head at him before picking up her own menu. Her stomach was rumbling a little too, although the embarrassing sound was covered up by Noah's even louder stomach so she didn't feel too embarrassed. Her eyes caught sight of a vegetarian lasagne on the menu and thought it sounded nice. Ordinarily, she'd go for a normal lasagne but for some reason she couldn't find one on the menu. Vegetarian lasagne it was! Charli was chatting to Lilia and Will was kind of just smiling awkwardly, listening to their conversation but not really saying anything. Y/N related to that on a spiritual level.

She figured that it might be nice to have a conversation as a group. She thought about talking about the movie but for some reason she figured she didn't really want to bring up work when they were having an informal meal. The waitress came over and took their orders, the rest of the group ordered semi-light dishes and dishes that could be considered to be healthy. Noah, on the other hand, ordered everything he could get away with. Chicken wings, burgers, pasta and a side salad. Y/N thought there must have been some sort of guilt inside of him for ordering so much meat and carbs, so he decided to get a little salad to balance things up.

After the waitress had left, Y/N decided that it was a good time to tell them about their encounter with Jim Kanami earlier. The stupid, nosy, snobby reporter. The group found it funny how they had managed to fool the most snooping man on the face of the earth that Noah had just dropped by. Charli shared her personal story about Jim Kanami, and about how he had gone to some of her friends to try and get dirt about her. Luckily for Charli, her friends were loyal and didn't spill a word.

"If only Wyatt had been that lucky..." Jaeden mumbled and Andy gave him a pat on the back. Y/N sympathised with him, she knew the story of what had happened between Wyatt and Jim Kanami. Apparently not everyone at the table did know, or at least they didn't know the real story.

"What happened? I was kind of a fan of his but I haven't heard anything about him in years." William mentioned, it probably being the first time he'd spoken since they'd gotten there.

Jaeden looked at Andy before looking back at the rest of them, beginning to explain the story.

Wyatt had been an icon, he still was in his truest fans eyes, he'd risen to fame. His peak days were shortly after his Netflix series had been renewed for a season two. Loads of reporters and magazines were writing about him, praising him. Delivering interesting articles about how he was good friends with the cast, charity work he'd done and his hobbies and interests. Jim Kanami wasn't one of those reporters. He only ever spilled dirt on people. Jim Kanami had brought up old tweets that Wyatt had been criticised for and apologised for in the past- old tweets, they were long done with. Of course, the new 'fans' didn't know just how old they were and they started hating on him for them.

Somehow this still wasn't enough for Jim Kanami. He'd managed to get hold of a friend that Wyatt had had an argument with, and that friend was mad at him. Using the false information that the friend had given him, the lies, Jim had crafted a story so believable- so horrific- that no casting director, manager or producer ever approached him with work ever again. Any auditions he'd managed to find out about by himself never went successful, they'd thrown him out at the door.

Jaeden sighed as he finished explaining to the group and he was met with shocked faces. Now they knew how dangerous Jim Kanami could be.

"If that guy tries to talk to you, any of you, you put on a smile and find a way to leave. Don't be rude, don't say anything about the projects you're working on and never mention anything about your personal life." Andy advised them and Y/N felt the table tense up, thinking about just how evil that Jim Kanami could be.
