Oh What An Eventful Morning

The next morning, just like every morning on set. Y/N awoke in her hotel room to the sound of her alarm clock, bullying her into rolling over to switch the horrendous sound off. Y/N sat up in bed and rubbed her eyes, sighing softly. Today was going to be a busy day, there were a few scenes to shoot- all of which were somewhat technically challenging. She looked over at her mirror and looked at her messy hair, her tired eyes and her pyjamas which were positioned awkwardly on her. She must have been moving about in her sleep a lot, she guessed.

She rolled herself out of bed and grabbed a clean outfit and then headed into the bathroom. She turned on the shower, took her pyjamas off and got in. She felt like she was forgetting something, she felt happy but couldn't quite remember why. Oh yeah, that's right.

She went on a date with Noah Schnapp last night. She smiled to herself as she got herself ready, feeling happy and satisfied, not knowing anything of the drama that was taking place in the next room. Knowing nothing of the person who had betrayed her out of spite.

Y/N finished up in the bathroom and got dressed, fixing her hair into a neat pony-tail before putting on minimal makeup. By this point- her skin was a lot better than the rest of her friends, they'd been wearing make-up on set for weeks whereas she got to show up to set looking like death if she wanted. It wouldn't make a difference.

Y/N didn't check her phone that morning, she just wanted to go and see Noah. She slipped her phone into her pocket, threw her shoes on and opened the door where-

Jaeden was standing, as if he was about to knock. He jumped in surprise but then furrowed his brows in confusion as he saw her. "Oh, morning. You're looking, surprisingly, cheerful."

Y/N laughed and nodded, closing the door behind her, "Yeah of course I am, have you seen the weather today? How can anyone be sad on a day like this?" she said as she walked off down the hall so she could go and find Noah. Jaeden walked after her, pulling out the box of doughnuts he was hiding behind his back.

"I guess she won't be needing these then..." Jaeden mumbled and shrugged, opening the box of doughnuts for himself.

Y/N knocked on Noah's hotel room door and opened the door, popping her head around, "Guess who?"she giggled before walking inside and closing the door. Her eyes wandered around the room and didn't see Noah anywhere. She guessed he was just in the shower so she grabbed herself a poptart and sat down on the end of his bed. It only took her a moment to realise that she couldn't hear the shower running. Her feet dragged her to the bathroom door and knocked lightly, "Hey, Noah? It's me."

There was no answer, Y/N squinted a little in confusion before leaving his room. He was probably just called to set early, but then- wouldn't she have been called too? She only shrugged and walked off down the hall and that was when she heard arguing. Coming from Jaeden's room.

He was shouting at someone, and it seemed as though they were just wrapping up the argument. Y/N couldn't help herself but hold her ear up against the door to listen.

"Do you have any idea how this is going to hurt them? Y/N especially! I thought you cared about her, about them! They're your friends!" Jaeden shouted at the person. "Look, I won't tell them about what you did- but if they catch on then I'm not covering for you!" Jaeden finished.

Who was he talking to? What was going to hurt her? A million questions raced through her mind but they were cut short as she heard footsteps coming towards the door. So she dashed around the corner to the elevator, acting casual as she waited for the doors to open.

Y/N heard a door slam and footsteps approach her, she looked over her shoulder to see who it was. It was just Jaeden. She smiled at him as the doors opened, stepping inside with him. He smiled back at her, almost guiltily. Y/N wanted to ask him about the argument she had heard. But she was cut off as he opened his mouth to talk instead.

"You okay?" He asked her, she nodded in response.

"Yeah, are you?" She responded. Jaeden sighed and nodded, rubbing his eyes a little.

"God..." He sighed, muttering to himself, "You haven't seen it yet, have you?"

Y/N shook her head, confused. What was he talking about? "No I guess not? Seen what?" she asked, getting more and more concerned as the seconds grew.

Jaeden looked down at her and squeezed her arm gently, sighing, "You might want to check your phone.."

The elevator doors pinged open and Y/N and Jaeden stepped out. She got her phone out of her pocket and was surprised at the number of notifications she had received, from her friends, her family, fans and haters alike. She furrowed her brows as she saw that he friend had sent her a link. She clicked on it.

As the page loaded up, she looked at the web address- she recognised that page. And in that second she knew what was going on. Her thoughts were confirmed as she saw the picture pop up on the article.

It was of her and Noah, in the car park, hugging. The article title almost stopped her heart from beating all together.

"NOAH SCHNAPP AND Y/N L/N: THE PLAYER AND THE LIAR"

This was not good.
