B-Roll to the Rescue
After Y/N and Noah had came to their realisation, they decided to play it down a little. They agreed that they wouldn't walk around acting suspicious of their friends, just act as they normally would. Focus on the film, in the end, that was the most important thing. If this article was going to stop them from getting any future projects to work on, Y/N was determined to get this one done to perfection.
But Y/N knew something that Noah didn't. Y/N had heard Jaeden screaming at someone that morning. Jaeden knew. But would she just walk right up to him and ask about it? Y/N wasn't really like that, she never had been. Besides, she kind of thought the challenge of finding out who had exposed them would be good for her. Kind of. She felt kind of cool, if she was being honest, it was like being in Sherlock Holmes or something like that. And if it all went to hell, and she lost all her leads, she could always just ask Jaeden about it.
She figured it would be pretty tough to figure out who had done it.
Y/N left her trailer and walked back over to set, smiling at people. They seemed surprised to see her happy, as they probably expected her to be hiding at the hotel for the next few days at least. Y/N walked straight over to Andy who was framing a shot and she stepped in front of him and did it for him in a couple of seconds.
"How's that?" Y/N asked, knowing he'd like it because they'd framed it up like that for the past few weeks now and it kept with the vibes of the scene. The scene, from what she could see was one of her favourite scenes from the book and was happy they managed to keep it more or less the same. Basically it was just Sadie, in some dark cave, giving a monologue about how beautiful the multi-coloured land is and how the Sidhe would never see it.
It took a few takes but by the end of it, they'd gotten the perfect take and the majority of the crew and observing cast were in tears. It was the scene where Sadie's character died but there were a couple of scenes that they'd been holding off to shoot- so she'd be hanging around for another couple of days. Besides that, she had interviews for b-roll and stuff to-
The interviews! Of course! Y/N dashed out of the set and to the trailer where they'd kept all of the footage from the interviews they'd done a few weeks back. Noah was walking out of his trailer when he saw Y/N rush past and decided to follow her. "Y/N?"
When Noah turned the corner, he saw Y/N using a hair-pin to pick the lock on the trailer, he squinted in confusion as he walked over to her. "What are you doing?" He asked, making her jump a little.
"Crap, Noah! I thought you were Andy or someone. I'm going to watch the b-roll interviews from a couple of weeks ago." Y/N admitted, letting out a cry of triumph as she managed to get the door open, hoping inside of the trailer.
Noah face palmed a little and sighed, following her inside after making sure Noah was looking. He watched her rummage through boxes filled with USB's and laughed softly. "You're lucky you're cute." Y/N smiled a little before looking back at the boxes. "Why are we going through memory sticks, by the way?"
"The b-roll interviews, you remember the kind of questions they asked, right? Like, how they felt about members of the cast and crew, how they'd been getting on- stuff like that." Y/N rambled as she hunted through the boxes before finding one labelled- 'B-Roll Interviews'. It was pretty direct and obvious, Y/N thought.
"Right... So you want to use the interviews to check up on everyone's, what? Mental health? See what they've been getting from the cafeteria-" Noah froze before speaking up again, "Okay- if you're going to watch mine, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I haven't been entirely honest with you."
"What?"
"I did eat the last doughnut with red, white and blue sprinkles- I told you Charli ate it but it wasn't her, it was me. I'm so sorry." Noah went red with embarrassment and started playing with his hands.
"You ate my-? You know what, it's fine- I forgive you. We have bigger things to worry about." Y/N told him as she went over to a laptop in the corner of the room and switching it on. The laptop was older than Y/N grandpa, she thought to herself as she waited for the crappy laptop to load up.
Y/N rummaged through the box and pulled out a USB labelled- 'Jaeden Martell'
Time to get watching.
