Noah's Shirt
After Jaeden had shared the unfortunate story about Wyatt, the group ate in silence when their meals arrived. Y/N realised how lucky she was to be able to sneak out of the situation with him earlier. I was all quiet until-
"Oh! Noah!" Lilia exclaimed, laughing and pointing at Noah. Y/N turned to look at Noah and joined in with the laughter as she saw a bright orange pasta sauce stain on Noah's suit. That kid was messy. She knew he was, or she figured he was after following him online for years and she felt almost honoured to be present at a Noah Schnapp spillage.
Noah went red with embarrassment as the group laughed at him and he tried to clean himself up with a napkin that was on the table. But he just made it worse, the napkin spread the orange stain over his white shirt.
Will shook his head and took a sip from his glass of water, "That's never coming off. Good luck with that, mate." He laughed a little as Noah looked around flustered. Luckily, a member of staff came over to see what the commotion was about and she immediately spotted the stain on Noah's shirt. She left and came back a few moments later with a pack of wet wipes. As the member of staff left, Y/N noticed that they were laughing a bit too. Only Noah would do something like this. As everyone else ate their food and talked about things they had been working on recently, Y/N helped Noah clean up the mess on his shirt. Y/N took a moment to think about how he was so unlike his character. His character was strong yet goofy- but not this goofy. Noah took goofy to a whole other level. Y/N kind of liked it though.
After watching Noah wipe off the pasta sauce painfully slowly for a good five minutes, Y/N gave in and grabbed a wet wipe too, helping Noah clean himself up. Noah smiled and welcomed the much needed help. Y/N shook her head and laughed at the fact that he'd managed to get it all over his face too. She started to wipe his face for him too.
"Noah, I feel like your mother doing this for you!" She laughed as she wiped away the sauce from the corner of his mouth. Noah smiled and laughed.
"Well my mom is all the way back in New York right now so looks like you're going to have to fill in for a while!" Noah responded, still giggling to himself. Y/N sighed softly and finally cleaned Noah up the best she could, there was still a bit of orange residue on his shirt but it wasn't too noticeable. He'd just have to hide behind everyone if the paparazzi showed up.
After everyone had finished their meals, Andy went over to pay while the rest of them quickly drank the rest of their drinks. Will looked around at them all, "I wish that we could explore some of this place. There's an ice rink nearby and swimming pool. Too bad we can't really go anywhere without getting mobbed."
Everyone nodded sadly, agreeing with him. Y/N started to feel the mood of the table sink lower and lower before she had an idea. "What if we all had a sleepover tonight? We could order milkshakes from the restaurant that's in the hotel and we could watch movies? Play some games?"
As soon as Y/N had said that, she felt the mood of the group come up again. Everyone agreed in someway or another, from nods to air-punches to cheers. Andy came back over to the table.
"The uh, the staff just told me that there's paparazzi outside. So look sharp." he advised as the group followed him towards the restaurant front door. They thanked the staff before Y/N put Noah in the centre of the group between them all. It was just before Andy opened the doors that Y/N remembered that not only did Noah have a stained tuxedo they needed to hide, but people weren't meant to know that he was in the project all together.
As if their thoughts were synchronised, Andy turned to Y/N and nodded towards Noah, "Hey Noah, mind if you duck down. Guys, try to hide him but don't look too obvious about it. The paparazzi are annoying but they aren't stupid." The group agreed and Noah tucked down between them all and the group surrounded themselves around him.
They all left the restaurant and Y/N immediately jumped at the flashing lights and shouts coming from the photographers. Thankfully, it was only a few steps until they could get inside the car. I was an awkward manoeuvre but they managed to slip inside and still hide Noah from the cameras.
The door shut and the flashes were cut out by the stained-black windows. They all audibly sighed with relief before they looked around at each other and broke into laughter as they drove off.
