Santiago drove me around Sāo Paulo for a few hours, showing me 'territories' and different places that he considered his own. "With me, you won't have to worry about a thing out here." He said as we pulled to a stop in front of a building. "But you have to earn your keep. I need to know that you're really riding with me."

"And how do I do that?" I asked and he simply smirked before the door opened and his driver gave us both a nod.

"Come on." I stepped out of the car and followed him, noticing some woman who looked super underdressed outside, smoking cigarettes. "Ladies." He said with a charming smile.

"Hi Santin." They responded with a sultry grin and I suddenly realized what they were here for. Gross.

Once we walked in I immediately spotted large shipping crapes from wall to wall. "This is what I like to call my laboratory. It's where all my shipments come and go." I nodded and watched guys push rolling baskets filled with machine guns. "Hey," He suddenly started to speak Portuguese and I raised my eyebrows when they all stopped what they were doing to pay attention. "This is Y/n. She is my right had and if any of you disrespect her, I will cut yours off. Understand?"

"Yes sir!" They all said and I hummed. All that damn power... gotta feel good.

"Excelente. Come on Y/n." We continued down a main hall and I noticed the sound of the workers started to drown out and the sound of muffled yelling faded in. The hell.. He stopped at a door and looked at me before speaking up. "Santin." He said with two knocks and the door instantly opened.

The same guys from the bar last night stood in front of us, blocking the source of the screams. "Oh, this is Carlos and GK, you guys remember Y/n?" They nodded before moving to the side and that's when I saw the source.

A man was tied to a chair with duct tape on his mouth, blood dripping from his eyebrow. "My man." Santiago said with a clap, walking forward. "How's the chair huh?" He then ripped off the tape and I winced a bit when I saw he had a beard. That shit had to burn.

"Santi please.. I didn't do it-"

"Sh, I want you to meet someone." Santiago beckoned me over and I slowly walked towards this. "This is Y/n, she's my devilish angel. Y/n this is Daniel. Tell her what you did Danny." The guy started to spit out a response so Santiago pulled a gun out of his waistband.

"I.. I ran off with your money. I'm sorry Santin I just needed the money." I looked at my 'boss' and he shook his head while tutting.

"Sorry isn't going to save your ass this time. I don't like giving second chances but I gave you one Danny." He shook his head before handing me the gun. "Take him out for me. I'll be in my office across the hall, meet me there when you're done."

Inside I was freaking out but I kept my exterior calm as I nodded, watching him walk out. GK and Carlos stood at the door waiting for me.

"Please." I looked back at Daniel as he shook his head. "I have a family."

I looked down at the cocked gun and nodded softly. "So do I." I then raised the gun up and pulled the trigger, my eyes closing as blood splattered up against my shirt and face.

On the outside I probably looked like I've done this a million times. Internally..

Don't throw up, don't throw up, don't throw up.

I swallowed thickly before turning around as the door opened for me and they both nodded and I knew it was the silent stamp of respect. I was in. Officially.

Walking out, I sighed and knocked on the office door before walking in when I heard him say so. "Ooh, I should've told you not to wear a white shirt." He said with a sigh before walking to a mini closet and pulling it open. He looked through the shirts before pulling out a button up. "Brown would complement you. Here." He handed me the shirt before sitting down in his chair and pulling up a duffel bag while I got dressed.
