Danny's pov

The next day it was back to school! Yayyy.
At least I have something to look forward to...
Lloyd.
Though, it did sound super weird saying it. I mean, that was the name of my fathers ex "love."
Maybe it's a sign? No, it couldn't be.
I wore a pair of jeans and my dark purple sweater with a blue flannel underneath.
I kissed my mother on the head. "I love you, okay?" I said. "You're perfect just the way you are."
I said this because she looked anxious that morning. Like I was gonna throw up if I saw her.
She nodded, smiling a bit. When I was out the door she shouted, "have a good day!"

How could I?
I mean, how do I go back to school after...
Mr. Jackson.

I entered the building, shivering.
I was so distracted yesterday by my father and my boyfri- Lloyd, I just blocked it from my head for a couple hours.
Not last night, though.
Last night it was really hard for me to sleep.
I mean, how could anybody sleep after a situation like that?
I walked through the long hallways until I spotted police men surrounded by a classroom door, caution tape blocking off the area.
There were crowds of kids around the tape, trying to look in the class.
I was so curious and I wanted to know what happened, until I saw what class it was.

Mr. Jackson.

I waited until the police men were distracted by all the kids shouting and wanting through. It seemed like they were busy so I slipped underneath the tape and peaked inside the class, my stomach wanting death as soon as I laid my eyes on what happened.

Mr. Jackson was sitting on his chair, leaning on his desk, dead.
