Arata studied a new script, glancing around his room from time to time, his eyes scanned all the shades of grey he could absorb,  he placed the script and went to join the others in the living area, they seem to be watching a horror movie of sorts, Koi and Kakeru cowering under a spare blanket, "What are we watching?" He whispered in Aoi's ear, "Ah, some movie Kakeru borrowed from Rui." Then something dark splattered across the screen and Aoi cringed, "It's too bloody for my taste though." Arata settled on the edge of the couch and watched with the rest of them, until the credits started rolling and most of the younger members scared out of their wits, "Alright, I think that's enough horror for one night, come on let's head for bed." Hajime ushered everyone to their rooms.

It was a brand new day and the day before the shooting of the new series, he's out for boba tea with the other younger members of both groups, "So, Arata have you met your co-stars yet?" Iku asked, sipping on his matcha boba, Arata shook his head, "I haven't, the director wants us to meet on the set itself so we could develop our bonds in one place all at once." And Iku nodded, understanding the circumstance.

He looked down at his own order, according to what he had purchased it was Black Tea, it tasted it too, but all he could see was a light shade of grey in the plastic cup, and Rui could see the slight sadness in his eyes, "Arata, is something bothering you again?" He looked at him and shook his head, "No, it's alright." It never really did bother him to not being able to see colors, but now of all times did he feel bothered about it than ever.

"Oh, I've heard (L/N) (Y/N) is also doing the project with you, Arata." Rui followed up his question to switch topic, to not further dwell on the previous comment, and Arata tilted his head, "Pardon, but I don't think I've heard of her." At the mention of her name Koi seem to beam at him, "Wow! You're so lucky, Arata. She's like the best soap opera actress, she mostly plays the part of very mean girls that are actually good on the inside, like the very embodiment of the trope." Arata thought about the character description sent to them, "Oh...then she must be my character's love interest, they were supposedly rivals before —" Aoi cuts him off, "Now don't spoil the show, we'll watch it when it airs." He chuckled and Arata nodded.

The day of the shoot arrived and they first decided to do a table reading, everyone is socializing while waiting for the rest of the cast to arrive, the actual shoot will start tomorrow, "Hey, (L/N) is running a little late don't you think?" Brought up one of the cast members, another perked up saying "Maybe they decided to do a coffee run?" And a few moments later, a girl came in wearing shades holding a donut box, "Sorry for running late, wanted to pick up some donuts from the catering service." She removed her shades and Arata's eyes met her sparkling (E/C) ones...wait...(E/C)....(E/C)!

Arata abruptly stood up, all eyes turned to him, "Woah, Arata are you alright?" But he couldn't hear them as he walked towards her, determined, "I'm Arata, pleasure to meet you." She beamed up, "It's nice to finally meet you, I'm (Y/N) (L/N), but soulmate works for me too." She added cheekily as he blushed, "Red's a good color on you." She whispered before turning to the rest of the people in the group, "Everyone, let's do our best!" The others snap back to reality and joining the cheer.

Later...

"Man, I'd want to meet my soulmate on a set." Sighed one of the cast members watching (Y/N) and Arata, they were practicing lines for a romance scene, "You'll find someone, Tenma." Another reassured him as he huffs.

"Arata! How are you doing?" Arata looked up from talking with (Y/N) and saw his groupmates and blushed, "Everyone, I found my soulmate!" He gave them a big smile, "Hi, everyone!" Waved (Y/N) at them, "Long story." Arata could tell from their looks they want to hear all of it.
