⁂☽ chapter forty-nine ☽⁂
HOW THE HELL COULD TWO PEOPLE BE SO CLUELESS? LIKE SERIOUSLY...
Tony, Zendaya, Harrison, Jacob, Harry, and Donna watched as their two friends cuddled up on the bowling couches together, oblivious to the groups obvious stares. The girl giggled as Tom tightened his yellow bandana on her head, pushing back some of her curls that were covering her face placing it behind her ears.He smiled at her genuinely, examining everything about her. The way to neon fluorescent lights added a brightened glow to her smile and her eyes that shown even brighter in the darkened atmosphere.
"Are you sure you don't want to wear it?" she questioned, examining the bandana on her hair in her phone camera. Tom shook his head, his curly hair falling in front of his forehead, causing Calliope to reach out to fix it slightly, making Tom smile at her.
He ached when he sees her smile.
Tom always wanted it to be directed towards him. For him. Because of him. He wants to bring her joy; be the source of those lit eyes and dimpled cheeks. He watches her bring so much happiness to those around her. Feel the warmth she's given him.
"Tom, it's your turn," Harrison calls out towards the two, trying to catch his friend's attention. Tom turned back to Calliope, the girl winking at him slightly.
"Try not to aim it in the gutter this time,"
He rolled his eyes at her comment, standing up and walking towards the bowling lane. He walked past Harrison, who was giving Tom an all-knowing smile.
"Harrison, shut your face."
