WHEN TOM WALKED ON THE ROOF OF THE HOTEL, WHAT HE DIDN'T EXPECT TO SEE WAS CALLIOPE SITTING ON THE CONCRETE FLOOR, WATCHING THE CITY FROM BELOW ALL ALONE. He slowly walked over to her, standing behind her as she heard someone approach her.

"Hey Calla, everyone has been looking for you," He spoke softly, trying not to spook the girl. He watched as she turned her head around glancing at him briefly before looking towards the sky once again. He noticed a somewhat distraught look on her face, watching as she faced the railing of the building, glancing out towards the sunset that painted the sky.

The sun was already dipping behind the horizon, but the daylight still lingered in the air as though accidentally left behind.

"Sorry, I guess I didn't realize the time," she apologized, standing up pushing her braids back onto her shoulders. She gave a forced smile, not passing him a glance for more than two seconds.

Tom slowly stepped towards the girl, stopping her from walking past him,
"Are you okay?" he whispered, looking at her face for any time of emotion.

She nodded her head, before brushing past him, making Tom droop his shoulders.

"You know you talk to me right? I'm your friend," he called out to her, making her stop in her tracks. It was obvious she wasn't herself, the usual bubbly personality she always radiated off. She slowly turned around, walking slowly towards Tom, wrapping her arms around his shoulders, hugging him tightly.

He didn't hesitate to wrap his arms around her waist, holding her with a comforting hold, scared for her to let go. He listened as she inhaled deeply, trying to prevent herself from shedding at tears before releasing her hold.

"Do you wanna stay here? We can order room service or something and talk?" Tom suggested, trying not to overstep any boundaries. He just wanted Calliope to feel comfortable and safe.

"That sounds amazing right now, but Zendaya would literally kill me if we don't go," she huffed, pushing her hair back behind her ear, "I'll take you up on the offer another time."

Tom nodded understandably, emitting a small smile from his lips.

"You know what else would make me feel better?" She asked, raising an eyebrow towards the Brit.

"What?"

"A private show of 'Umbrella' from Rihanna himself," she joked, pointing a finger at Tom's chest. Calliope admitted a soft chuckle watching as Tom rolled her eyes at his comment. He reached for her hand, pulling close before walking towards the roof exit, "Maybe another time."

Walking towards the stairs, an idea popped into Tom's mind, something that would permanently imprint a smile onto Calliope's beautiful face. Maybe it was time to take a small road trip, but of course, it would talk a couple of days for Tom to plan.
