"UGH, I DISLIKE RUDE FANS," TIMOTHÉE COMPLAINED, WALKING ALONGSIDE THE STREET WITH CALLIE.She walked beside him quietly, not knowing what to say. She watched as his posture slouch, looking down towards the floor. The pair fell victim to fans, waiting outside the small cafe from where they ate, obviously wanting a picture with the famous actor.
"It's okay, it was just a fluke," she tried to reassure him. He sighed softly, running his fingers through the dark brown curls of his hair. He agreed silently before smiling towards her new acquaintance.
"I know what would make you happy," her voice rising slightly, nudging him in the side carefully, "If Lil Timmy Tim came through live from G-25, to talk about his love for Miss Lawton," she teased, causing Timothée to laugh loudly.
He playfully pushed her which caused her to laugh even louder, clutching her stomach in laughter. The two continued to walk, the sky beginning to diminish. The wind began to pick up, making Calliope skin grow with goosebumps. Timothée was quick to notice, taking off his jacket before handing it over towards her.
"No it's fine, Tim," she reassured, pushing the jacket back towards him.
"Calliope, don't be ridiculous, you'll catch a cold."
She smiled, wrapping the jacket around her shoulders, automatically feeling herself warm up. They continued to walk down the street back towards Calliope's hotel.
"Merci pour ce soir, j'ai un bon moment." The boy smiled, stopping in front of the hotel doors. It was now late, the lobby looking empty from inside the double doors. Calliope returned the smile, pushing her hair back behind her ears. She was caught off guard, she didn't even think he remembered that she spoke his language.
"Bonne nuit, Timothée," she laughed, pulling him into another hug.
"Do you want your jacket back?" she asked, easily switching back into English. He shook his head, waving his hand slightly.
"La prochaine fois," he smiled, walking off down the street, "Au revoir, Callie!" he waved. She watched as he walked away, smiling to herself. She was so glad she was able to find a friend like Timothée and she was definitely surprised to become friends with her favorite actor.
