"Meg, stop! I don't want to be alone in here!" I was trapped in the backstage closet, with Meg trying to free me. "Just wait Christine!" She said, trying to pry open the door."This wouldn't have happened if you just let me leave! I didn't want to trap the Opera Ghost!" Well, that wasn't 100% true, I did want to see him, it's just I'm so scared and Meg made me go in here. "Oh, stop being such a baby!" She scolded, "Now wait a few minutes, I'm going to get mom." She yelled through the keyhole. "Wait! Meg don't leave me alone in here! I don't wanna be alone!" I practically sobbed, banging the door with all my might, until I gave up.
I feel so alone, I thought
No Mom
No Dad
No Meg
It's so dark, I don't want to be in the dark anymore.

I curled up into a ball and cried into my knees. Just then I heard a footstep.

"Hello? Meg?"

No answer, but now I could see a figure in the closet. Terrified, I backed up into the wall so close that I thought I might fuse into it.

"Hello?" I squeaked out

The figure tilted its head in amusement, then approached close enough that I could make out that it was an older boy, but far enough away to conceal its face. Then, It spoke, or rather, sang to me.

Wandering child, so lost, so helpless, yearning for my guidance

I couldn't help but be mesmerized by that hypnotic voice.

Was this it?

Was this the promised Angel of Music?

"Angel? Is that you?" I asked enthusiastically. There was a long pause until he finally answered

"Yes, my child. Now take my hand, your voice has much potential and it needs to be perfected."

"Yes, my Angel" I obediently agreed as he lead me through a trapdoor.

I can't believe it!

My Angel has finally descended from the heavens and arrived to me!

"Here, mother, this is where she is" I said, leading her to the closet.

"How could you?" She scolded, "You should know better than to try to lure out the Phantom!"

But as she twisted the key and opened the door, all that we saw was an empty closet.

"Christine?" I yelled frantically "Where are you?!"

"Hush, my child" Mother soothed me "Do not fret, for She is under the Angel of Music's wing for now, and will return shortly." She added, then gracefully walked away with a smirk.

"Angel? Oh lord Christine, what have I gotten you into now?"
