Blaze continued her training for many days and nights. There was still no sign of Flame returning but Blaze was confident that he would. She trained with her sword and taught herself how to fight with it, it was difficult to use in the beginning but Blaze quickly learned how to use it. After her training for so long Blaze started to think there was nothing more she could learn about fighting. However, there was so much more she could learn.

One day Blaze decided to go on a walk through the city for something different, she had waited so long for Flame that she was starting to think he had moved on and done something else with his life rather then come back for her. As Blaze was walking she came across the store that Chris use to work at. She stopped to see if anything had been done to the store, but Blaze sighed as she saw the store was completely empty. No one had bought out the store, but it wasn't surprising considering someone had been murdered in the store.

Blaze started thinking back to when she use to work in the store with Chris. As she was thinking about the good times with Chris, two men walked past her and they stopped in front of the store to look at it. "It's a shame he was murdered here. He was a nice guy." One of the men said. The other man nodded his head. "They buried him in the graveyard near the end of the city, at least they were able to do that for him." The man nodded his head again then he spoke. "The poor guy had no family, I kind of feel bad for him." The men turned and walked off. Blaze watched them go then she thought to herself. Maybe I should go see his grave, I would like to know where they buried him. The men said it's near the end of the city which isn't really far so I guess I could go. Blaze sighed and started her walk to the graveyard. The thought of where they buried Chris never crossed her mind before so she glad that she heard the two men talking.

Blaze shortly arrived at where the graveyard was. The ground had beautiful green grass covering the entire gravesite. There were hundreds of headstones on the green grass, one at the front of each grave. Seeing all of the gravestones made Blaze feel a bit sad, she didn't realize how many people would be buried in the same place as Chris.

Blaze sighed and walked along a stone pathway into the graveyard. She started reading the names that were carved into each stone. It took her a while to find the stone that had the name Chris on it but she eventually found it. She saw the stone had the name Chris carved on it and the day he was born, along with the day he died. Blaze sighed and she knelt down by the stone. "I really miss you Chris. You helped me a lot when I needed it, I just wish you were still here. Your life should not have been cut so short." Blaze looked down at the grass that lay over his grave. She stared down at it thinking about everything Chris did for her and Flame, he didn't have to help them but he did. He went out of his way to give them both jobs and the things they needed to survive. He had an entire life ahead of him that was cut short because of Flame. Blaze shook her head at the thought of Flame killing Chris. It made her angry just thinking about it.

Blaze stayed there for a few hours in silence just thinking about the memories she had with Chris. The sun was starting to set so Blaze stood up to leave. "Goodbye Chris." Blaze turned and walked back down the stone pathway. She left the graveyard and went into the forest.

Blaze looked up at the sky as she was walking and she watched as it turned from blue to pink with hints of purple and orange in it. The sunsets were always beautiful, but she could never see it clearly with all of the trees in the way. As Blaze was walking towards her cave lost in thought she heard a stick crack. She stopped moving and looked around to see who was there, but there was no one. Blaze turned to keep walking but she saw a tall person standing by the cave that she lived in. The person was wearing a black cloak that reached the ground with a hood covering the persons entire head including their eyes.

The person turned to Blaze and reached their hands up to the hood. The person grabbed onto the front of the hood and pulled it back revealing themself to be her brother Flame.

"Hello Blaze, it's been a while." He said in his sinister deep voice. "Are you ready?" He smirked as he raised his hand. A flame formed above the center of his hand. He was ready to fight.

Author note: I plan on rewriting this chapter, I don't really like how I wrote it, there's a lot of work to be done in this chapter but I just wanted to get out here so I don't keep you all waiting for it, and so I can get started on the next chapter right away. Once this book is done I will go back and rewrite certain chapters like this one that I don't care for.
