As he was roaming through the remains of Earth, The Doom Slayer was fighting off the forces of hell and blasting anything that moves.

The Doom Slayer used his Super Shotgun's meathook to latch onto a Cacodemon, he shoots its top half completely off as he lands on a Zombie stabs him in the throat with his Armblade. Arachnotrons tried to corner him so The Slayer pulled out his Chaingun and filled the Arachotrons with lead.
After he was finished killing the remaining demons a portal opened up, thinking the portal would take him to The Deagic Council, he walked through the portal to find hell, but not the hell he was expecting. He saw buildings and streets unlike the rocks and skulls he was used to.
