thunderstorms

Tony's POV:

I look outside my window and see a thunderstorm about to start, I close my window and decide to check on Peter.

I go to his room, and when I opened the door I don't see him on his bed, I go inside to check and see his bathroom door open with the lights on and I hear crying.

I immediately go to check on him and see him sitting on the rool with a blanket on his shoulders while hugging his knees, I lightly knock on the door before entering.

"Hey kiddo, you ok?" I ask crouching down to his level

Peter looks up to me and grabs me in a hug burying his face in my chest crying, I hug back the boy rubbing circles on his back letting him cry.

"I.. thunderstorms.. my parents.. the plane.." he says while crying

"Your parents.." then it hits me, Peter's parents died in a plane while there was a thunderstorm, Peter never really talks about that so it's safe to assume that's what happened.

I sit down beside Peter and gave him a side hug while he's still leaning to my shoulder, his crying has been reduced to sniffles but he still flinches every time he hears the loud boom outside

"Hey kiddo, I know a better place to wait this storm out. I made a sound proof room for Bruce way back when and we can go there if you want." I ask, Peter just nods and we both get up going to that room.

When we got there, Peter immediately sat down on the couch while I offered to make some hot chocolate to calm down his nerves.

I made the chocolate and hand a mug over to him while I have my own, there was a tv in the room cause why not. So we ended up watching some disney movies to calm Peter down.

2 hours later I can see that Peter is starting to fall asleep, but is forcing himself awake. I smile at the kid and place his head on my shoulder.

"Sleep kiddo, I'll still be here with you in the morning" I say and Peter sleepily nods.

"Thank you *yawn* Mr. Stark, you'd make a great dad" he says while closing his eyes getting comfortable leaning against me.

"Don't sweat it kiddo, good night"

"Night *yawn* dad" after he said that he fell asleep not even realizing what he said.

I smile to myself, this kid is really something, giving me gray hairs.
