A What???

Rhodey got in the car driving as fast as he could to get to Tony, what did this man get himself into again?? He thought.

Let's rewind abit..

Rhodey was about to go home when he felt his phone buzz in his pocket, he checked it out and he saw it was a message from Tony.

'I need help' it said, at this point Rhodey was worried and immediately went to go see Tony.

When he got to the tower he immediately went to the penthouse calling his bestfriend's name "Tony! Where are you??" He yelled, he walked around abit looking all over the place, nothing was out of place, nothing was destroyed, everything was completely fine. He went into Tony's room and saw the bathroom light open, he approached it but making sure to knock just incase.

Knock knock "ok Tony I'm her- what is that?"

"Oh hey Rhodey, glad you came." Tony said standing up, legs hurting from crouching down to give a baby a shower.

"Yeah yeah anyways, what is that??!"

"Oh, a baby."

"I can see that, but why tho? Whose is it? Where did you get it??" Rhodey practically yelled, making the baby start to cry.

Both men immediately took notice of this and Tony began rocking the crying child in his arms trying to calm him down "hey hey it's ok, he's not gonna hurt you, shhh"

Rhodey just watched the entire scene go down, smirking at how soft his bestfriend can be.

"So anyways, to answer your question. Ok so today I decided to go out to the target down the street to buy more coffee cause we're out, so while I was walking there I turned a corner and I heard a baby crying, I got curious and found this little guy in a box beside a dumpster with only the clothes behind his back and a note. Remind you Rhodey freezing December right now and the baby was in a box with only a blanket as a source of warmth, so I decided to take him here and gave him a warm shower. And now here we are "

Rhodey was silent, he didn't know what to say, well if he was in the same situation he would've taken the baby too. "Ok, ok, alright, so we have a baby and we don't know who the parents are and it's late. Ok so this is why you texted me for help, what am I gonna do?"

"Oh yeah, about that, I was gonna text you to buy some baby stuff in the target down the block since I never got to go. I was gonna send you the list but my hands were already wet so it didn't click"

"Ok, sure I'm going to do that, but can you do me 3 things?"

"Yeah yeah whatever "

"Ok one, you need to call Pepper about this too so she knows, two get your lawyers to arrange his files and find if he has any relatives. Three, for time being don't forget to take care of yourself, actually no. Don't forget to take care of yourself in general" Rhodey said while smirking at his last sentence, he knows how much his best friend forgets to take care of himself staying up hours until end.

"Ha ha platypus, ok ok I know what you mean, I'll call Pepper while your out"

"Oh by the way, what's his name? Cause we can't keep calling him kid forever"

"Peter"

"Peter huh? Alright little Peter, ok I'm going to go get the stuff now "

"Kay thanks Rhodey"

"Yeah yeah I know, I am the best"

[On call with Pepper]
T:"Hey Pep.. I need to tell you something.."

P: "god Tony what did you do this time?"

T: "I found a baby"

P: silence.. "A What???"
