Birthday Party

August 10, Saturday

Today was Peter's birthday, it was his 8th to be exact and he was so excited! He invited his entire 1st grade class to come to his house and even baked cookies and ordered a full party meal set that included lasagna, spaghetti, carbonara, hotdogs on a stick with marshmallows, chicken nuggets and so much more for everyone and set up games in the backyard. When everything was set up all he had to do now was wait.

Tony and Peter were sitting on the couch waiting for guests to arrive, Pepper sadly couldn't stay home for Peter's birthday since she had a full day today but she promised she would make it up to him.

Peter put in the invitations he gave everybody that his birthday was at 1pm, it was currently 1:25pm and none of the guests have arrived yet.

Around 1:28 Mrs. Leeds, Ned's mom texted Mr. Stark that Ned couldn't come to Peter's birthday party since he suddenly got sick, but promised to just hand Peter his gift on monday. Peter was fine with that and just sent Ned a get well soon message while he waitee for other guests.

It was now 1:48pm and none of the guests have arrived yet, Peter was starting to loose hope but still tried to stay positive since maybe they jsut got stuck in traffic.

After hours of waiting and the guests have yet to arrive, it was now 4:27pm. Peter was beyond sad and he lost hope for the guests when it struck 4pm since his party was only supposed to be from 1-3pm.

It was now 5:42pm and Pepper just got home, when she saw the food on the table untouched and it was dead silent in the living room. She walked in the house to find Tony in the kitchen just washing up 2 plates.

"The food is untouched, where are the kids?" She asked.

Tony just gave her a sad sigh and said "They never arrived, Peter was beyond devistated. He's in his room sleeping, he cried himself to sleep"

"Not even Ned arrived?" She asked

"His mom texted me saying he got sick, but he will still hand Peter's gift on Monday, Peter was fine with that since he thought the other guests would still arrive and make it all ok"

Pepper just let out a sad sigh, but she knew how to make it up to Peter now.

The next day went as normal but Peter being slightly down, he didn't wanna look at the decor and games he set put outside cause it just made him sad, he stayed in his room or in the living room just watching TV, reading a book or just playing with his toys. He was quiet for the entire day, Tony and Pepper hated seeing their little boy that was once filled with joy and excitement now just be gloomy and quiet. He didn't talk much during dinner and it was weird for them to have a quiet dinner.

The next day Peter woke up and got ready for school only to be stopped by his parents,

"Hey Peter" Tony said

"Hey dad.." Peter said with a sad sigh and just ate his breakfast fast so he wouldn't be late

"Hon slow down, you're not going to school today" Pepper said

"what do you mean?? We have a quiz today and Me and Ned were supposed to hangout today at school at recess" Peter said, as much as he wanted to skip school he couldn't just let his grades slip like that, plus he was looking forward to hanging out with Ned

"Well honey, since I heard you didn't have such a successful birthday party last saturday, we decided to make it up to you" pepper said

"And you know you dont see your aunt's and uncles that much right?" Tony said and Peter just nodded

"Well how would you feel if all of us, with your aunts and uncles go to Disney Land for the week as your post birthday celebration" Tony said

At this point Peter was ecstatic! He was gonna go to Disney land for a whole week! And He was gonna see his aunts and uncles again!

"Also, I talked to Ned's mom and she and Ned will come with us to Disney Land so you won't have to miss Ned on this trip" pepper said and Peter was just bouncing off the walls at this point! He was so happy!

"Well what are you waiting for bud? Lets go get your clothes ready, we'll meet the others at the compound including Ned" pepper said

Peter just grabbed Pepper by thr hand and dragged her to hi room since she helps him with his packing clothes alot when it comes to trips.

Time Skip

They arrive at Disney Hotels and Peter is just geeking out with Ned about the stuff they could do while at Disney land for the entire week, the avengers just smiled at the two boys and Tony ended up getting 3 separate rooms, 1 for the boys, 1 for the girls, and 1 for both the Starks and Leeds so Peter and Ned can share a bed. (No homo)

Time skip

After 7 whole days of fun at Disney Peter had the best week of his life and both him and Ned were excused from whatever quizzes happened while they were gone.

Hi! So this is my first oneshot story! Hope you guys enjoyed it and hopefully understood it since I dont know how to word out my thoughts properly😅

Yes its a real thing, we serve it at children's birthday parties where I'm from (*cough* 🇵🇭 *cough*) so anyways yeah!
