Okay so my laptop is being stupid so this was half done on the laptop and half done on my phone. I'm going to try to fix it and see what happens. Hopefully I won't have to get a new one.

Frank POV

Things had been weird lately, in both good ways and bad ways. The girls and Miles were always smiling and genuinely happy until Y/N wasn't around, then they were way more needy than they've ever been. Uncooperative, throwing tantrums over nothing, you get the picture. But, tonight was probably the worst.

The kids didn't get to see Y/N because she picked hers up from school early for an appointment, so they were extra cranky. Miles cried nonstop basically the entire day, Cherry's attitude was worse than usual, and Lily was just completely silent. She wouldn't talk at all.

So here I am, trying to get them ready for bed, when all three of them start going ballistic.

"We want Y/N!" Cherry screamed. Miles sobbed violently and nodded in agreement. Lily sat in the corner, crying silently.

"I know you want Y/N, Cherry, that is literally the only thing you have been saying today." I replied as calmly as possible. "Go watch SpongeBob for a minute, I need to talk to your sister."

She finally complied with me, grabbing her brothers hand as she rolled her eyes. As soon as she was gone, I slowly walked towards Lily, then crouched down beside her.

"What's wrong, Lils?" I whispered. She rubbed her tear stained face and shook her head. "Please tell me. I won't get upset, I promise."

"I jus- I just don't want to lose Y/N too. I already lost one mommy, I don't want to lose another." She cried. I pulled her into my arms and rocked her like I always do when she's upset. "When I don't get to see her, I get afraid." She whispered into my arms.

That's when I finally decided I'd just call Y/N.

Y/N POV

I was sitting on the couch with Jas and Kat when my phone started ringing. I looked at the screen and picked up almost immediately when I saw it was Frank. I stood up and walked away from the couch as I answered.

"Hey, what's up?" I asked.

"Hey, Y/N. I, um, I really hate asking this, wow. Okay, so basically the kids have been throwing nonstop tantrums all day because they miss you and Lily, in her words, is afraid she's going to lose her new mommy too." I felt a slight pang in my chest at his words. My heart ached for Lily right now.

"So you want me to come by?" I asked.

"Come by?" I heard Kat and Jas scream together.

"Mind if I bring some friends?" I chuckled into the phone.

"Not at all. We can just carpool tomorrow, if that's fine with you of course." He replied.

"Yeah, that'd be great. I'll go get our stuff packed and we'll be right over, okay?" He agreed and we bid goodbye. I ended the call and slid my phone into my back pocket, then looked down to my two heathens.

"Are we going to daddy's?!" Kat was practically bouncing in anticipation.

"First of all, he isn't your daddy. He is Frank. We talked about this. Second, yes we are, so lets go get our stuff packed, okay?" The two bolted up to their rooms before I finished my sentence.
