A/N
Sorry it's taken so long, guys. I've either been busy or in a bad mood. But here's this! I love you all, sorry again.

Frank POV
One thing that Miles' party this year showed me is how well Y/N and I's families get along. I don't think I've ever seen my parents interact with others so well in my life; besides our own family, of course.
Everyone was having a great time, honestly. The kids had a blast playing party games meant for children as the adults chatted while watching them. The entire time, I couldn't take my eyes off of Y/N. This entire party was made possible because of her. The smiles on everyone's faces, she was the cause.
To be honest, I've never seen Lily and Cherry this happy on this particular day. You could tell they still thought of Jamia, but they weren't hurting. Miles was genuinely happy today because none of the happiness was faked. Everything was genuine, it was apparent.
"You really do have great taste in ladies, Paco." My father spoke, startling me a bit.
"I really do, don't I?" I chuckled. "My luck really fluctuates."
"She's good for you, kid. We haven't seen your or the kids this happy in years." He pointed out. "Hold her close and never let her go."
"Oh, trust me, I don't plan on it."
Y/N POV
I was watching the kids play tag as my mother came up to me, observing them along with me.
"You're practically glowing, you know. I haven't seen you this happy in years." She smiled.
"Well, I finally have a reason to be happy again." I beamed as I looked around at my newfound friends and family. "We all do."
"Seeing you happy again is what I've wished for since the accident." She paused, rubbing my back, "He would be proud of you."
"I know he is. He told me in my dreams." I smiled. Usually bringing up the subject would hurt, but I only felt peace. Yes, losing Mikey was the worst thing to ever happen to us, but finding Frank may be one of the best things.
Of course, the kids are the best thing to happen to me. There's nothing in this world that could compare to my love for Katarina and Jasper. If I'm being honest though, I think Mikey and Frank may be tied. I feel awful for thinking that, but it's true. Frank has completely changed our lives for the better and my love for him is equal to the love I had - and still have - for Mikey.
"You two were meant for each other." Lindsey added as she came to my side. "I better be the maid of honor at the wedding though."
"Yeah, yeah, yeah." I chuckled.
"Tag! You're it, mommy!" Cherry giggled as she ran from me.
"Oh, you're gonna get it, missy!"
Frank POV
"Tag, you're it!" Y/N yelled as she touched my shoulder, running as fast as she could after.
"Oh hell no!" I ran after her, grabbing her waist when I finally caught up to her. "You're it."
"Well, you're still touching me. Does that make us both it?" She asked, looking back at me as I held her from behind.
"I guess." I shrugged.
"Mommy, daddy, you're ruining the game!" Kat whined.
"Well, Miles has to open his presents soon anyway! Let's put the game on hold for now, okay?" I told her. She sighed, but agreed.
Everyone walked back up to the deck and stood around the table holding Miles' presents. He was practically vibrating with excitement when he saw the amount. I mean, considering there were over fourteen people here, not including the kids, there quite a few.
We had my parents and her parents, of course. Then Lindsey and Gerard, Christa and Ray, Mikey's parents, and Jamia's parents. Then us, of course. A few aunts and uncles stopped by for a quick second as well. It was a really great turn out.
"Can I open my presents now?!" Miles asked excitedly.
"Go for it!"
Y/N POV
To say Miles was happy would be an understatement. He got everything he wanted and more, including everything he wanted for the new theme of his room. Bedset, curtains, area rug, wall decor, even a lamp! The lamp was part of Lindsey's gift. Anyway, he was ecstatic.
Unfortunately, I'd have to do a lot of rearranging with the amount of toys and clothes he got as well. It's going to be just as crazy in a few months, considering Kat's and Jasper's birthday is in June and then Cherry and Lily's is in August.
Frank bringing out the birthday cake snapped me out of my thoughts. I grabbed my phone and immediately began taking a video of the entire thing. As we sang 'Happy Birthday' Miles looked around at all of us and smiled widely, a bigger smile than I'd ever seen him wear.
He made his wish and blew out his candles, us clapping and cheering as he did. Frank began cutting the cake while I handed out pieces, the first obviously going to Miles.
"This kind of reminds me of the barbecue, but with more people and cake." I chuckled as I handed a piece to Donna; Mikey's mom.
"I've actually been thinking of that all day, especially when we ate dinner." He replied.
"It seems kind of crazy, doesn't it? One little meeting at our kids' school led to this." I handed out the last piece, then followed Frank to our own table with our own pieces.
"I'm glad it turned out this way though. I wouldn't change it for the world." He beamed.
"Neither would I."
