A/N

The beginning is a little boring for those that aren't old and watch HGTV all day like me lolololololol. But no, it'll get better.

Y/N

We've been official for two months now. Two months, and we all basically live with each other now. What used to be a couple stays a week has turned into flipping houses each week. So that's when Kat stepped in.

"Mom, Dad?" She called out from the living room entry.

"What's up, love?" I asked. She waltzed over towards us with her hands on her hips, which reminded me of her uncle.

"I think we need to all put our money together and buy a bigger house for all of us! I think I have ten dollars in my piggy bank so that should definitely cover a lot of it," she thought out loud, "but we're always together anyway and we need more rooms because there's so many of us! I want my own room!"

Frank and I just looked at each other, not really knowing what to say.

"We'll talk about it, sweetie, okay?" Frank told her. She nodded happily, then left the room.

Was it too early to get a place together? I mean, she's right, we do practically live together already and it has been quite a while since we all got to know each other anyway. We might be able to make it work.

"So what are your thoughts?" I questioned.

"I mean, she's not wrong. We do kind of live together already and there's seven of us with only three bedrooms in each house. It wouldn't hurt to look, right?" He answered.

"That's honestly exactly what I was thinking. She's right, we definitely need more space." I paused for a moment, "but we would need a place with at least five bedrooms. Two bathrooms would be nice. I don't think ten dollars will cover it."

"Well, I still have a lot saved up. We could always get a loan if we have to. We also need to decide on if we want to stay in this school district? I'd rather keep it that way, so hopefully there's something." He stood up and grabbed his laptop from the table. "Let's check it out."

We spent hours searching and actually found quite a few that were perfect. We decided tomorrow we would call around and ask about viewing them.

"I'm really excited about this. I wonder how the other four kids feel. We definitely know how Kat feels." He chuckled.

"I don't know, let's ask them." I shrugged.

"Kids, come here!" Frank yelled. Not to long after, five sets of little footsteps came rushing into the room. "There's something we need to talk to you guys about."

"Is this what I think it is?" Kat asked excitedly.

"So your mom and I gave it some thought, we're gonna call around tomorrow and really look into it, but how would you all feel about getting a house together? Once where you can each have your own rooms!" All of them seemed really excited at the thought of it.

"Do we get to see the houses too?" Cherry questioned.

"I don't see why not, they should be able to help us pick." I looked at Frank for his opinion.

"I think that would be a great idea actually." He smiled. All of the kids cheered happily.

If you'd tell me back in late August that the man I spotted when I picked up my children from their first day and I would be dating and getting a newer, bigger house together, I would call you crazy.
