After the whole party charade, the group decided it was best to hang at the Chateau. Figuring out their next step within their master plan. But with DCS still on John B's ass, it made things ten times harder.
Finally breaking the silent tension within the group, a frustrated John B voiced, "I'm calling it off. Alright. Peterkin's said if I stay out of the marsh, she'll help me with DCS."
With Bondi sitting next to Kie she scoffed. All while Kiara gave her a look. Having the same reaction, JJ challenged his words as he sat on the busted table, "and you believed her?"
John B sighed, "yes I believe her, JJ."
The boy shook his head in disappointment, "an actual cop John B? You believed a cop?" He announced throwing a rock in anger.
"All I got to do is stay out of the marsh for a couple days and she'll help me out. And it doesn't help that your ass was shootin a gun."
Knowing a fight was about to erupt, Bondi attempted to stand up, but was held back by a concerned Kiara, giving her a look that said "let them handle it." Nodding, Bondi slumped back in her seat letting her two best friends fight it out.
"You know what I should have done man? I should've let Topper drown your ass."
Bondi's blue eyes widened, not liking her friends choice of words. But couldn't get a word in as John B jumped back, "yeah because Topper was gonna drown me?"
Scoffing at his answer, JJ got up from his spot, walking closer towards the boy. "Sure looked like it. I mean have you looked in the mirror?"
Immediately hearing the comment, Bondi touched her cut eyebrow remembering the incident. JJ may have dragged out the fight but he had a point. Topper wasn't going to stop until John B was seriously injured.
Fed up, John B ushered, "keep going, tell me some more. Come on tell me some more. Come on." JJ interrupted the threatening words.
"They always win don't they man? Kook vs Pouges. They always win!" He exclaimed hitting the light from bitterness.
However, as the fight got more heated, Kiara finally decided to chip in voicing, "its okay!"
Coming back around JJ yelled, "no! It's not okay! It is not. They don't want us to go down to the marsh, that means there is something valuable down there. And you know it man, I know you do."
But JJ wasn't done with his rant as he pointed to Pope, "I understand why you don't want to go. You're the golden boy. You got way to much to risk." Next pointing to Kiara, he went on, "and you? I mean, you're already rich as fuck anyway, why would you bother?"
Lastly directing his words to Bondi and John B, "but you, Bondi and me, we got nothing to lose. We really don't."
Which was true. Bondi's future seemed to take a swan dive right into a black hole. Her father left before she was even born and her mother was an addict locked up in jail. Things weren't looking up.
