The gangs first step in their elaborate plan, was to locate the famous Royal Merchant. In order to do so, they agreed it was best to start with the coordinates that Big John had left behind.
However, to find the exact location of the wreck, they needed direct contact to the internet. But in order for internet, you need power. Something the Pogues didn't have, since the horrific hurricane. Yet, with JJ's help it would be a piece of cake to sneak the crew in a power infested, Figure Eight hotel. Working as busboy for the Kooks had its perks.
"All right, keep lookout. We're behind enemy's lines," JJ says reaching into the glove compartment of his friends van. Pulling out his prized possession. His stolen gun.
Parked in the parking lot of the hotel, John B shook his head towards the rebellious boy. "No, come on man. Just put it back."
JJ ignored the comment, still admiring the gun. Seeing the look on his face, Bondi sighed while wearing a small grin. She knew exactly what to get him for his birthday. A trip to a gun range.
Pope leaned against the window, as the rest of the Pouges hopped out of the run down van. "Hey, I predict that bringing a weapon to a four star hotel will likely cause more problems than they solve."
John B smiled, "thank you, Pope."
Joining in, Kiara leaned forward resting her head between the two front seats, turning to JJ. "I swear to God, I'm gonna throw that thing in the ocean JJ. Put it back!"
Although, Bondi loved her bestfriend to death, she had to agree with the others on this one. "I am truly sorry JJ."
Looking at the short blonde, JJ threw her a confused gaze, "what are you sorry for?"
"Sorry for this," Bondi ushered while she tore the gun away from his tight grip. Tossing it back into the glove box. His eyes widen as his mouth fell open from surprise. "You can't grab a gun like that!"
Bondi shrugged her shoulders innocently. Deciding it was best to get her back later, JJ went back to the plan, grabbing his ID badge from the compartment. "Can't forget my badge. Professional busboy."
Bondi stepped on her tippy toes, tapping JJ's head like a trained puppy. "I'm glad you remembered."
Giving the girl a playful smirk, he tussled her once neat hair. Gasping, she jumped away smacking her now frizzy set of hair. "Great, I look like I just got attacked by a bird."
JJ laughed in her direction. Breaking the banter, John B pitched in. "So where are we going now?"
"We're getting on the internet because only rich people have electricity right now," JJ explained.
