The morning after the brawl, the four Pogues made their way to Heyward's. A convenient store that was owned by Popes family. Kiara was currently helping Heyward with the register, while Pope gave people their deliveries at the door. Bondi and JJ were the only ones not pitching in to help, as they reminisced on the fight. Both talking about the damage they did, even though the boys and Bondi were injured. The blondes we're still proud the mark they left.
"Don't let it get in your head. Three of them and two of us. Thats typical Kook shit right there," JJ stated.
Kiara nods along, "hell yeah."
Bondi gleamed at her friends, "kooks have a tendency to be dipshits. They just can't help it."
JJ laughed at the girl, glancing at Pope. "What was your thought process with using your head?" He asked the boy. Referring to when Pope used his head to hit Topper in the face before the girls arrived to the scene.
Pope shrugged, "I don't know man. I just kinda acted off instinct. I was a cornered animal."
Putting a hand on her friends shoulder, Bondi gave him a bright grin. "I thought it was awesome. Some would even say it was badass."
Pope chuckled, "thanks Bondi."
The small girl went to give a sly remark, but before she could do so, Heyward was calling out for the boy. "Hey Pope! Someone's here to see you."
Trailing behind the older man was a stern Officer Shoupe. Pope and Bondi's eyes widen as JJ quickly hopped off the counter he was sitting on, "Evening, Officer."
"I have an arrest warrant for felony destruction of property," Shoupe announced.
Pope immediately looked over his shoulder at Bondi and JJ, who were in a state of shock. Breaking the trance, the officer came around the counter. Taking out his handcuffs, placing them on Pope.
"Woah, woah," Heywards shook his head. Unaware of his sons actions. "Shoupe what'd he do?"
"Take a look at the warrant," the officer stated.
"I'm sorry, you're arresting him?" Kiara scoffed.
"You're just arresting my boy?" Heyward continued as he once again shook his head in disbelief.
"What did he even do?" Bondi chimed in.
"Where's the proof?" JJ questioned even further.
"Shoupe are you listening?" Heyward demanded, once the handcuffs click in place.
Shoupe began to list off the Miranda Rights as the group followed behind. All while the officer ushered Pope outside. The friends kept uttering questions left and right, trying to gain the attention of Officer Shoupe.
