After the few hours passed, the sky had gone from a pink array of clouds to a black scenery, littered with stars. It was the perfect time for the group to venture off to the Cameron household without being spotted. They didn't know if John B actually went through with killing Ward, or let alone went to the house. But what they did know, was that they needed to check . The whole ordeal made the crew frantic. Every plan they came up with had major risks and the Pogues didn't know if it was going to work out in their favor.
Bondi sat silently on the side of the HMS, while Kiara nervously paced the boat. Even just sitting there, the Kook house made them on edge. But what made the situation even worse was there was a murder involved. Bondi knew for a fact the Figure 8 held secrets. However, not in a million years did she think murder would be one.
JJ currently bounced his leg up and down as he took a seat beside Bondi, before finally standing up. His anxiety was at an all time high and he was starting to get impatient. Making his voice waver.
"What now? We just go up to the door and ask, Hey have you seen John B?"
"Look, he lives at Tannyhill now. It's plausible," Kiara explained, gesturing to the large amount of property. "We can play dumb"
Bondi frowned while JJ scoffed. "Play dumb?"
"It's pretty late," Pope mentioned as he was eager to leave.
"The cops—" The blonde boy shook his head.
"Yeah and say what Kie? We're worried about our friend because he's going off on a rampage because Ward Cameron killed Big John? Like, they're gonna believe us!"
"Yeah your right but..." Bondi started before taking a breath to process her thoughts. "We got to make a big move like it or not. We are cornered and there aren't a lot of options left."
"Hey, I see Ward," Pope announced, setting a pair of binoculars to his eyes.
The three scrambled and followed his gaze. Kiara snatched the device from Popes hands and got a better look. "Doesn't look dead to me. Lets go home," Pope nodded.
"What?" Kiara questioned out of surprise.
"Okay, obviously Mr Cameron is fine, and even if John B was here, he isn't now okay?" Pope further explained.
Bondi stared and gave him an understanding nod. She knew tomorrow was a consequential day for him and she didn't want to ruin that. "Plus I have the biggest, most important moment of my life in six hours."
"Yeah, well our friend is in trouble," Kiara argued.
"I'm in trouble!" Pope retorted. Kiara shook her head in disbelief as Pope continued to defend his action.
