Violet's POV
As soon as I got home yesterday, I took a quick shower then instantly passed out from exhaustion. It took everything in me not to throw the damn alarm clock when it went off at five in the morning again. Literally who said you have to wake up at 5am to be a wrestler.
I dragged my sore body out of bed and put on a pair of panties and violet colored sports bra and paired it with black leggings. After getting dressed, I brushed out my hair and put it in a messy bun then began the walk over to the performance center. I swear if Seth made us do group push ups again, he was going to be the next Shield member I slapped. I had a feeling by the end of this month I would slap them all. We'll see.
I walked into the performance center and was surprised to see even less people here than yesterday. People were dropping like flies, not that I blame them. If I had the luxury of sleeping in, I gladly would've but if I had slept in it would've resulted in me sleeping in the streets so here I was.
I decided to stretch my sore muscles as we waited for the shield to arrive. Just as I finished stretching the shield arrived and everyone stood at attention. Were we at military camp or wrestling camp? I honestly wasn't sure at this point between the yes sirs, counting and standing at attention.
"Since you guys are dropping like flies, we decided we'd take it easy on you today. Today will be promo class. You'll come into this ring and choose either myself or one of my brothers. Once you have selected one of us, we'll start the promo and you'll have an opportunity to retort. But there's a catch. At the end of the promo battle, the rest of the class will choose a winner. If you can't hold you own against one of us, then you'll drop and give me a 100 push-ups then run the entire two mile perimeter of this building. Is that understood?" Roman asked.
"Yes sir!" The class minus me shouted. One of these days I'd remember to say it. I totally wasn't forgetting to say it on purpose, that was impossible.
"I forgot to mention, if you take on all three of us and manage to win. You won't have to participate in conditioning for the rest of the week and instead will get one on one in ring coaching from us." Roman added and suddenly everyone's interest was peaked.
"Any volunteers to go first?" Roman asked and surprisingly no ones hand went up, they just looked at one another. Which I thought was odd.
"Come on we don't bite." Dean said." Well hard anyways." He added.
"Anyone, anyone at all?" Roman asked again and I figured fuck it, it was a chance to get out of conditioning.
"I'll go." I suddenly said and everyone turned to look at me in surprise.
"Well come on in the ring with us then, Violet." Roman said and I made my to the ring then entered it. Everyone's eyes were definitely on me and I both loved it and hated it." No surprise that you'd volunteer first, after all you love running your mouth." He added.
"Who would you like to face, Violet?" Seth asked.
"All three of course." I said with a smirk as if there was one thing I was good at, it was trash talking. And as Roman said, I loved running my mouth.
"You sure about that, sweetheart. We don't want to bruise that frail ego of yours to much." Dean commented.
"Aw don't tell me you're scared of little ole me kicking your ass, Dean." I said and the class oooooed." Go ahead, I'm not scared." I said with a shrug.
"Don't say I didn't warn you, sweetheart." Dean said and I rolled my eyes.
"Shut up you two and let's get started." Roman said.
