The Next Day

Roman's POV

I woke up around six in the morning and quickly shut off the alarm not wanting to wake up Violet who was peacefully sleeping on my chest. I wish I could stay in bed with her all day and hold her naked body against mine but sadly I had to go back to work. I kissed her forehead and slowly untangled myself from her and headed to the shower. I closed the door behind me not wanting the shower to wake her up.

I ran the hot water and waited for it to heat up. Last night had been perfect and I think it was exactly what we needed. Our communication was getting better but it was clear we had both missed the intimacy of our relationship which is why I dropped by. I need my babygirl, I needed to feel her skin against mine and hear her screaming my name.

I stepped into the shower and began washing up. I had a feeling after last night, if she had happened to have an attraction towards Andrade it would die down for awhile as she knew who she belonged to. She knew the wait was worth the reward.

I finished washing up and stepped out of the shower then dried off and changed into my traveling clothes which just consisted of grey sweats and a black muscle tee since we'd be flying most of the day. Our bags were already in the car since we hadn't originally planned to stay the night.

I walked back into the bedroom and Violet was surprisingly awake sitting up waiting for me. I sat on the edge of the bed and she climbed into my lap.

"I love you, Vi'." I said softly and kissed her forehead.

"I love you too, Ro'. Safe travels, text me when you land because I'll probably be at training still." Violet said softly then kissed me lovingly which I returned as my hands roamed her bare body one last time.

"Come on let's get you back in bed." I said and picked her up and laid her down then pulled the covers over her." Goodnight beautiful." I said kissing her forehead and she looked at me one last time with a smile then closed her eyes slowly.

I waited until she fell back asleep then grabbed a water bottle and the bottle of ibuprofen and set it on the bedside table.

"Till next time babygirl." I said with a warm smile then quietly exited our bedroom and headed to the living room to meet with the boys.

"You ready brother?" Dean asked.

"Yeah, lets go. Thanks for sticking around an extra few hours." I said as we exited the house and climbed into the car.

"No problem brother, anything to help you and Vi'." Seth said as he began driving us to the airport. I sighed softly as the house soon disappeared from my sight.

Three hours later

Violet's POV

I slowly opened my eyes and sighed because Roman wasn't there. It had been less than a few hours and I already missed him. I slowly began to move to go take a shower and already felt pain. I couldn't help but smile as I noticed Roman had left me a bottle of water and the bottle of ibuprofen. I shook two pills out of the bottle then took them with some water.

I then slowly pulled myself out of bed and limped my way to the bathroom. I ran the hot water and leaned against the counter for support as the water heated up. Training was going to kill me today.

Once the water got steaming hot, I stepped under it and sighed in relief as it felt like heaven. I stayed still under the hot water for a few moments just enjoying the feeling before beginning to wash up.

Once I finished washing my body, I washed my hair which I still hated by the way in case you're wondering. The only small positive was it took less time to wash since it was much shorter. Once I finished with my hair, I stepped out and dried off then began to get ready for training.
