Richie was playing Street Fighter for about 15 minutes until he felt a light tap on his shoulder. He turned around after his game and saw Connor standing behind him. "Oh uh hi, did you wanna play orrrr?" Richie asked in a nice manner.
"Oh no erm, i wanted to know if you wanted to go somewhere to hang. I'm quite bored to be completely honest," Connor replied while smiling as much as possible. Richie felt flattered that he was asking to hang out with him out of all people, but Connor sounds nice and seemed like a cool person to be friends with so he couldn't see why not. "Sure, why not."
"Really? I know what it's like when you have to stop playing even when you don't want to," he joked.
"Oh uh i've been playing enough, it's fine."
"Cool." They both left the arcade and walked around in town for a while. "Hey uh is there anywhere that would be fun to hang out? Town is quite boring," Connor asked as they finished their ice cream that they both brought.
"The quarry. Have you been there?"
"Uh is it that lake which is like 5 minutes away?"
"Yeah, it's fun to just sit on the rocks and chat you know."
"Sure, let's go." They made their way to the quarry and both took a seat on the rocks and laid back to look up at the sky. Their conversation was going well until Connor brought up about Henry being his cousin. "You do know that Henry is my cousin right?" Connor sat up and looked over at Richie, he done the same. "Uh yeah lol, do you like the fact that he's your cousin?"
"Eh, i like the fact he can beat anyone up who starts on me," Connor joked while letting out a laugh. Richie started laughing and then realised the silence that Connor was letting out, so he stopped laughing. "I also hate it though," Connor confessed.
"Why's that?"
"Because most people are scared to be my friend because of Henry and his mates, not a lot of people want to be around me."
"Oh.."
"I'm glad you're my friend though."
"Yeah.. It's fine," Richie said smiling. Maybe he could join our club? if i can trust him, Richie thought as he watched Connor brush his hand through his blonde, messy hair. "You know, you're the only person i've told about that," Connor quietly spoke as he moved his body to look directly at Richie. Richie felt awkward. Was Connor trying to get close with me? Richie gulped as he turned his head to Connor and replied with a kind "well i'm glad i'm a person that you trusted that wi-" Richie instantly got cut off by Connor pressing his lips against his. What the fuck? What the actual fuck? Richie was slowly moving his head back but Connor kept his lips on his. They were making out?¿ This was until Richie quickly pushed Connor away from his and stood up from the rock. "C-connor-"
"Shit, i'm sorry Richie it's just i enjoyed playing Street Fighter with you yesterday.. You seemed cool and i really wanted to kiss you just then so i did and i-" Connor stopped talking to catch his breathe. "I'm sorry if you're not gay or bi or whatever, that probably make you uncomfortable.." Should i tell him that i'm bi? Should i tell him that i have a boyfriend? i should... Richie was nervously rubbing his neck as he felt the sweat dripping from his forehead. "It made me uncomfortable.. I-i'm not bi or gay so i'm sorry Connor but i have to go.." Richie quickly rushed away from Connor who was still sitting awkwardly on the rock. Richie looked back and saw Connor rolling up into a ball and could hear his whimpers until he was too far. Am i gonna tell Eddie? What the fuck do i do?!? Richie couldn't stop thinking about what Connor had just done, he had no clue what he was going to say to Eddie.. But for now, Richie was just rushing home to get away from anyone.. This was until he felt a tight grab onto his shoulder. Who the fuck just grabbed me?!
