Yet again this book is rated PG 13 because if alcohol addiction.
Maya exhales as she listened to what her parents said to each other.
She knew at some point they would get tired of fighting but she didn't know when.
Her father looked over at his daughter who didn't drink her usual wine or alcohol but juice.
"Mayan, what's the matter with you? Where is the alcohol?" her father asked and Maya exhaled.
"I booked myself in to get some help. I want to get clean," Maya said as her mother looked at her.
"Maya, it's going to be extremely hard. Are you sure you want to do that?" she asked and Maya nod
"Weird enough I have the energy for now. But don't think it will last long. But I am going to try," Maya said as her mother went on eating.
