Maya exhales walking through a hospital right to the nurses station as she wasn't sure where to go.
"Sorry, could you please direct me to Dr Hart's office?" Maya asked.
"He is currently out on a home call. You will have to talk to one of his workers. I'll send you to Dr Matthews," she said and Maya immediately recognized the name.
"Okay, thank you."
Maya walked down the hall and instantly saw the name plate on the door.
Dr. Joshua Matthews.
Smiling she gave a knock on the door.
"Come in," Josh said.
"Bothering?" Maya asked and he looked up.
"Is Riley okay?" Josh asked and Maya nod.
"She's doing good. I came to give you a file for Dr Hart. The nurses said you are his locum to deal with the practice," Maya said.
"Yeah. How do you know him?" Josh asked.
"My cousin. Your niece is doing really good actually. I just went to her rehabilitation in New Jersey. She is being discharged next week. But I am worried about her," Maya said.
"When did she move?" Josh asked as he showed Maya to sit down.
"I got her to move. The place where she is at right now is specifically for parents. I'm scared she will have trouble to adapt to t he is children. I'm babysitting them and as much as I know Elizabeth and the boys miss their mom, they will struggle once she is out," Maya said.
"Meet me this evening around seven at Stumptown. Then we can talk about that," Josh said as Maya nod.
