"Where is Mommy?" Elizabeth asked and Maya exhaled pulling the toddler on her lap.
"Mommy is in the hospital, Sweetie. She'll be home soon," Maya said.
"I want Mommy," Elizabeth said as she crossed her arms.
"I know baby. But mommy needs you to be here so she and daddy can just make sure that..."
"Lucas called. Riley is going into surgery. She's having the twins," Josh said and Maya looked at him.
"It's too soon," Maya said.
"She had the boys at this time as well. She'll be fine," Josh said.
