This book is rated PG 13 because of alcohol and drug addiction.
Maya exhaled as she fiddled with her sleeves of her shirt as she was definitely afraid of the place she was currently in.
Stumptown was not the right place for her to be at right now and it certainly wasn't her idea of having fun.
She saw as Josh came out and sat down next to her.
"Okay. Why are you so worried about my niece? I know she will have trouble adjusting to being back but I don't think she will be irrated with the kids," Josh said.
"Josh she just got out of rehab. I don't think she will be able to take on too much at once. Maybe we should figure out how to help her," Maya said as the bar tender made his way closer.
"One beer and... What do you want?" Josh asked.
"Just some orange juice please," Maya said and the man disappeared again.
"Don't you drink?" Josh asked and Maya rolled her eyes as she exhaled.
"I was an alcoholic," Maya said and Josh sighed.
"I'm sorry. If I knew that I would never have bought you to a bar. I'm so sorry," Josh said and Maya shook her head.
"I actually have to thank you. I have not been thinking how to really get over the addiction but now I faced it."
