Nagmamadali nadin ako pumasok sa banyo at nagmamadaling maligo pagtapos non nagbihis na ako suit and tie because you guessed it right I now work for my dad jk (pero no joke talaga).Need ko pumunta don kasi kinakasuhan ako ng isang nakalaban ko sa race, well how am I you ask eto sobrang gwapo at matipuno parin. I already graduated from college at I finished law to tell you the truth I'm not the best in the class but I guess my wit gives me an advantage sa mga kalaban ko. What race you ask ayon nakipag race lang naman ako ng motor sa isang guy na hinamon ako at nung natalo ko siya aba bigla banaman ako sinapak.
Ok going back to my day, I went downstairs and saw my mom sitting down sa dining room namin "good morning my everything" sigaw ko at nagulat naman si mom, i kissed her sa cheeks at humablot nang isang pancake from the table "oh aren't you going to sit down rich" ugh napa irap naman ako sa sinabi ni mom "mom how many times do I have to tell you stop calling me that" sabi ko habang nakatayo sa gilid niya at prinisenta sarili ko from head to toe and I posed like Arnold Schwarzenegger "oh yeah, btw ma I'm late na kasi kaya I'm going dad's going to riiiiiiip my head off" sabi ko dito habang palabas na ng bahay "ok take care" sigaw niya habang palabas ako.
I was eating my pancake on my way to my car, I got in and prayed na sana di traffic. How's dad well he's the same kilabot parin siya sa law firm na ginawa nila ni tito Greg kung si tito ay criminal law si dad naman ay isang civil rights law and he hasn't changed a bit, the ever strict and perfectionist, he made me the way I am. Bzzzt bzzzzt bzzzt napabalik ako sa wisyo when I heard my phone buzz again "sino nanaman ba to" tanong ko sa sarili ko "asan ka nanaman ba you're late nakakahiya na ikaw pa ang hinihintay Richard" here we go again galit nanaman si dad "and happy birthday to me dad, I'll be there mag papark nalang" sabi ko
"Birthday? Richard birthday? Wala akong pake sa birthday mo until ma resolve natin tong kinakaso sayo, you're making my blood boil" sabi ni dad through the speaker of the phone
Alam ko na ang susunod niyang sasabihin kaya I was mimicking him "why can't you be like your tito Frank's son na si Von, not only is he graduating with honors eh very responsible pa" he said "nako dad kung tulad ko si Von baka akalain nila nag share lang kayo sperm ni tito" pang aasar ko sakanya while parking the car "BWISIT KA TALA" di na natuloy sasabihin ni dad since I ended the call dahil lumabas nadin ako sa car
"Happy birthday" bati nang bawat empleyado sa office "thank you" sabay ngiti ang lagi kong sagot. I finally reached the conference room pero before I went in I smoothed my hair "good afternoon" i cooly said as I went. Napatingin sila lahat sakin and I saw dad's expression he was fuming mad buti nalang andito si tito Greg since he will represent me
"Sorry I was late" sabi ko "no worries sagot naman ni tito" ok so I won't bore everyone with the details of what happened kasi my dad wanted me punished buti nalang tito was good. In the end we settled the case the guy apologized and di na ako mag kakaso sakanya. Nung nag alisan na mga kalaban sa kaso ay tatayo nadin sana ako
"Ehem, Richard happy birthday" tito Greg stood next to me and handed me a ticket "HAHAAH what is this tito??" Sabi ko habang tinitignan ang ticket na iniabot sakin I read it and it was flight details ni.....ni Dawn.
"Oh you look shocked" dad said while smirking "uhm what is this" i asked them both "well anak, ayan na ang regalo ko and how old are you again?" Sabi sakin ni dad habang palapit since tito moved next to the desk.
"2....26" dad smiled "don't tell me you forgot na you will get married to Dawn pag 26 ka na" he said while patting my back " ah ah eh......" naputol ang sasabihin ko when my phone buzzed again "i'll take the call lang po excuse me"
Lumabas ako ng room when I answered the phone "sup bro what time later?" tanong ni Evan "wait lang bro ha kasi may pinag uusapan pa kami nila dad and tito" "ah ganoon ba sige sige, basta kahit ano mangyari di ikaw tatay" sabi nito sakin habang tumatawa at binaba na ang call
Lumabas nadin si dad and tito "well hijo Dawn's coming home tomorrow and we will have a dinner sa bahay namin to arrange everything" sabi ni tito at umalis na sila ni dad.
"What am i supposed to do now?" Inis kong sabi habang naglalakad pabalik sa parking lot.
Oh yeah before I even forget birthday ko nga pala ngayon, so ai hatched a good plan no no scratch that it's an amazing plan I said to myself with a wide grin, the widest if you ask me. Well since pauwi na daw ang bride ko why not make the most of it before we get married.
