Food came for everyone and they all ate without speaking to one another. After they all ate, guards came in and moved them into another common room that was similar to the first one they were put in. "Stay here." one guard said. "Like we're going anywhere else..." Alyssa muttered. The guards left the friends alone. Everyone stayed quiet. "Shouldn't we talk about what happened last night?" Whitney asked. "No one said anything and just looked at one another. "Looked, whatever happened last night...we shouldn't let it tear us up like this!" "Paul tried to kill me!" Alyssa shouted. "It wasn't me! I didn't have any control...!" Paul explained. "We all reacted differently to the gas and we don't know what the other person went through!" Kathryn said. Morgen sighed and teared up. "Kasi..." she whispered. "Everyone got silent and didn't breathe or move. Then Lucia smiled a little. "I can't seem to find anything funny about this..." Rachel said. "No it's just that I've seen this exact conversation before... I don't find anything amusing," she muttered. A few of them smiled. "What's funny about this?!" Rachel yelled. Everyone lost their grins. "Look at me!" She held up her hands which revealed nails pointed outward like claws. "I think you look cool," Whitney said. Rachel blinked.
"I mean, Rachel, you shot fire from your fingers! That's awesome!" "What? So me trying to kill everyone was awesome too?! Did you forget because of me she had to shoot fire out of her fingers?!" Paul yelled. "Well like you said...you didn't have control..." Morgen said.
"Yeah! So imagine what it'll be like when you finally do have control! You'll be awesome!" Kathryn said. "Or a mass murderer..." Alyssa muttered. "What," Paul said, "is your deal?!" "Hmmm, I don't know. Maybe the fact that you tried to kill me!" "Don't feel important. I tried to kill everybody so shut up." "Guys!" Lucia shouted. "Fighting won't help us. We need to calm down and just forget about last night. "Forget?" Rachel asked. "Yeah, forget," Lucia said. "Why would forgetting help us? Maybe we can't forget!" Rachel yelled.
"We need to at least try!" Morgen snapped. "Why? What good will that do us? Pretending as if last night didn't happen won't help solve anything..." Paul said. "Look, we know last night happened. Maybe we can't forget that, but maybe we can move past it and try to help each other figure this out. We are all we have now..." Whitney argued. "So what? We talk to each other about it?" Alyssa said. "It might be best..." Kathryn agreed. "I don't want to talk about it right now..." Rachel said. "But-" Suddenly one wall of the room slid up and revealed a larger room. This one was big and open without color or furniture. A guard walked in and motioned for them to go inside. Once inside, the same woman from the box was waiting for them. "Hello again. This is the training room where you will spend your days gaining control of your abilities. These guards are here to get you anything you need in order to do so." With that, the lady left and the friends were on their own. "What would we need?" Morgen asked. Everyone shrugged. Whitney then went to a younger looking guard standing by the door. He was fairly built and had tousled brown hair. The guard had strikingly beautiful green eyes that made Whitney blush slightly. "Um, can I get a big, uh, tub of water...please?" she asked. "Does it have something to do with your training?" he asked. "No, I'm going to take a bath in front of everyone. No crap it's for training!" Whitney remarked. The guard muttered something then left the training room. "Why do you need water?" Lucia asked. "I want to show you something I found out last night while I was taking a shower..." Whitney answered. "I'd rather not know," Alyssa said. "Not like that you perv!" Two guards came into the room with a tub of water and the young guard walked up to Whitney. Whitney tensed up slightly as he set the tub down. "Make it worth my while," he hissed. "Uh, okay. Thanks..." Whitney said.
"Uh, okay. Thanks..." Whitney said. He left and Whitney faced her friends who were grinning at the pink in her cheeks. "Okay, so check this out..." She stuck her hand in the water and pulled it out. Once she did, the water came up with her hands, as if floating. As Whitney moved her hands, the water followed and she slowly moved it in a circular direction. Then the water dropped.
