The Ardoni fought well against Tygren Voltaris's group, now there was only 4 Voltaris's and 6 Ardonians, not to count the huge portal behind Tygren and his group. Mount Velgrin was a death house for the Voltaris, even if they had lived here since the Great War.

suddenly,  the dark purple lightened up, revealing a golden light from the other side. there were the sounds of 2 people fighting on the other side, but it sounded like energy swords hitting one another, then beams of power getting shot out. Galadar Mendoris looked over Tygren's shoulder and was overcome with shock of what he saw.

The portal was currently in the battleground of the last fight with Tidersinger and Deathsinger, the two Song Wielders even in combat and power. Deathsinger extanged words with Tidersinger but no one heard anything on their side of the portal of what the two were saying. at one point, it looked like Deathsinger had given up, but a young Sendarian Ardoni, Arthulilia Sendaris, heard one thing that Deathsinger said.

"i cannot win this war. Not now. but i will return. Long after this battle is over, and i have been forgotten, and Ardonia has grown weak and my enemies are gone. and when you are no longer there to stop me!" Deathsinger's voice declared and the two Ardonians started fighting again.

the fight ended much to the Ardonians horror when Deathsinger blasted Tidesinger off the cliff, and turned to the Portal that separated their times. Arthulilia started stepping backwards. this was more than she bargained for. much more. Galadar Mendoris looked over to her, knowing she was young and full of life but not ready to see the horrors of war.

"Go get help, Arthulilia. and hide!" the Mendoris Ardonian ordered and faced the oncoming Deathsinger.

Arthulilia turned and ran to her horse, but had second thoughts. if the Voltaris overheard Galadar, she'd outsmart them. and most of those Ardonians won't survive, so their horses were useful. she slapped her horses rear after writing a note on a leaf:

"Deathsinger has returned."

she hid in a small gap in the rocks and waited for the noise of fighting stop. A few Voltaris passed, Deathsingers sword was dragging behind him. Arthulilia was scared so badly she was shaking hard to prevent any noises, or they'll find her. the Voltaris passed and went down the mountain, and the young Sendarian was left alone with Voltaris and Ardonian bodies alike. the portal was still open, but she didn't have hope that Tidesinger had survived the fall. she collected the fallen weapons and put them into the knapsacks on the horses. Voltaris prefered to go on foot, no matter what.

Arthulilia heard a noise of a staff tapping the ground,  while she was putting Galadar's weapons in a knapsack. she spun, whipping out her double energy swords and crossing them in front of her. behind her was Galadar, injured with a leg raised. Relief for her comrade filled her, but another staff was tapping the ground. nearby, but a little way off. the two remaining Ardonians looked at their surroundings but saw nothing. the noise kept coming closer until it was close enough that the wielder would be in sight. but they couldn't see the being.

"where did Deathsinger go?" a voice said behind them.

the two Ardonians spun around to find Tidesinger, tired, leaning on his staff, with a grave look on his face.

"this is more than i bargained for." Arthulilia said.

Galadar nodded and looked at Tidesinger.

"we have a problem, Achillean Nestoris" Galadar said.
