Attack from a lost friend

(the reason why i had done a preview of this chapter, is because this chapter may or may not be my longest chapter incoming. so bear with me, and hold onto your tissues, cuz this one is where things go down and full of feels. also, i'm terrible at fight scenes. dont judge pls)

Senn nudged Galleous and tilted his head at the undead Ardonian pacing infront of them, asking for a fight. Galleous looked at the Young Ardonian behind him and then looked where he was pointing and squinted at the undead waiting for them to attack.

his eyes widened and dropped his sword in shock.

"Thalleous?" Senn asked.

the Ardonian growled and looked at him, and Senn stepped back.

his old friend was now a pawn in the Necromancers army, and his worst fear had come true.

Thalleous growled, rotated his sword and charged at Galleous, who was still frozen in shock. Katelynn's friend jumped in front of Galleous and flung out her hands. Thalleous was sent flying backwards and landed on top of one of his fellow undead. the lady turned around at Galleous and slapped him in the face.

it was enough to shake him out of his stupor and he blinked at the girl.

"Go now while they're down. Katelynn and i will hold them off as long as we can." the orange haired girl told him while Katelynn helped up the ones who were unable to get up themselves without help.

Authulilia helped up her sister and Lucan while the Felina's got up and got their own weapons. while Katelynn and her friend held off the undead Ardonians, the group ran inside the building, which was suprisingly empty. Achillean looked over at Senn and Galleous to see if they were ok, but the look on their faces told a whole different story.

Senn looked on the verge of tears while Galleous looked empty, like his emotions had vanished except for shock and grief. many thoughts were zooming around Authulilia's mind as she looked back on the recent fight and slowed down to match Achilleans pace.

"what do we do now? do we tell the boy now that Thalleous is generally an undead." She asked him.

"i dont know, we all have to agree on the decision, including Galleous. and right now, he's a man or few words. i mean look at them. we dont need the situation to be worse." Achillean nodded his head at the two Ardonians in close pursuit.

"all right. when we're in the clear, and in safety, we will tell the boy what's going on." Authulilia determined and took off again.

Lucan picked a locked door open as the rest stood guard..... well, minus Senn and Galleous. they were both in shock of what had happened outside and couldn't get over it easily. the other members who didn't know who those three Ardonians were, such as the Felina's, Jaggathan and humans, kept glancing at the two males to see if they were ok. 

Jicara put a hand on Senn's shoulder and the young male looked up at her.

"are you ok, little one? you seem in very bad shape after what happened out there." Jicara asked while Niika nodded behind her.

that was enough to get a response out of Senn.

his eyes watered and in a split second, Jicara was stumbling with a reddened cheek, looking shocked. Lucan looked up from what he was doing to see what was going on as the others just stared at Senn in surprise.

"um, i'm taking that as a n-no then. forget i asked." Jicara stammered and scrambled away from the Male Ardonian.

Achillean and Authulilia looked at each other and back at Senn, who was now glaring at the ground, trying not to break down completely. Galleous put a hand on Senn's shoulder and shook him gently. Senn looked up at his mentor and barreled into a hug, crying his eyes out on Galleous's shoulder. Galleous wrapped his arms around the crying bundle and patted his back, on the verge of tears himself. both had the same thought on their minds:
