the female Sendarian turned around and looked at him. it was Ria. joy lit up in her face when she saw him and let out a yelp.

"Senn, your alive!" she cried and ran towards her adopted brother.

the two hugged each other tightly, having thought that they had lost the other in the Voltaris attack. a few tears were exchanged before they let go of each other and examined the other.

"you're looking a little skiny there, Ria. how on Earth did you survive?" Senn exclaimed.

"Osivian got who he could safely into the hidden storage area. when we got out, the Voltaris were gone. then we noticed a familiar Sendaris that was speared from behind. Osivian said later he didn't see anyone with those markings before or during the attacks. do you know who it was, because you got here before us, but you didn't arrive at Sendaria." Ria asked.

"that, unfortunantly, wasn't the case. Thalleous and i got to Sendaria while it was burning. A Voltaris that Thalleous called 'Tygren' had been looking for the Prime Songs and had noticed he moved them. When Thalleous was trying to get to Timber, who i was with, Tygren threw a spear at him. he didn't make it out. did he have his Songs on him?" Senn sadly said.

"That's awful! Thalleous didn't deserve to go down like that! oh, and answering your question, no. he didn't appear to have his Songs on him." Ria cried.

"Then they were taken. i'd say you got lost along the way, seeing how long it took for you to get here compared to my timing." Senn pointed out.

"A few stragglers, a few wounded ones, and we had to get to a safer place to rest for a few days. then we had to get food and remaining medical supplies to heal, we had to give more rest to our injured, so it took us a great 6 months, roughly. how long did you take?" Ria asked.

"about 6 days. it took me three days to get to Hogtown and 3 days to get here. it wasn't easy.but i made a companion on the way, Igneous. he went to K'arthen and Cydonia to settle a civil war so we can defeat the Voltaris and the Necromancers who may side with the Nether. thats been a while now." Senn explained.

"I take it you know her?" Authulilia asked, standing nearby, watching the two talk.

"Yeah, she's my adopted sister. i was adopted into their family when i was really young. i thought she died in the Voltaris attack." Senn said to the warrior.

Authulilia smiled." Osivian is a wise Sendarian. you've must of learned something from him." she chuckled.

"Not really. we were separated and punished if we were seen by him together." Ria sighed.

"Oh, my bad. must have been a bit rough, eh?" Authulilia asked.

"A bit." Senn agreed while Ria nodded.

"reminds me of my adopted father. rough as if i was a Voltaris myself. my sister and i were all he ahd left, but he said when i was younger Thalleous gave us to him saying that the Voltaris had left us alone, whereas my parents weren't so lucky." Authulilia shrugged.

"i see. treated you like a curse or a bad omen?" Ria asked.

"Pretty much. never liked us. which was why i was closer to Thalleous rather than him." Authulilia chuckled.

"i see. did anyone else make it?"Senn asked.

"Osivian and my brothers, the old lady down the path, about 20% of our village. i dunno who the others are because they are from the other ravaged villages." Ria answered

"ah. well, Galleous gave me a really odd look before. before you ask, Ria, Galleous is Thalleous's older twin brother. he dropped a tool after Achillean said something and when i went to pick it up for him, he gave me a look that i'd never seen before but man, did it give me a set of chills i never have had." Senn added.

"oh, yeah. about that.... hehe. Authulilia, can i talk with you for a sec?" Achillean chuckled nervously while Authulilia gave him a deadly look.

"Sure." Authulilia said in a cold voice and the two Ardoni walked off.

"Whats got him on edge?" Ria asked.

Senn shrugged." maybe he said something he shouldn't have? or his greatest fear is angry female Ardoni." he chuckled.
