"So, who's Arthulilia? i heard she was a young Sendarian female." Senn asked.
"trust me, when you say young, she's your age, so not very old." Hubris said, chuckling.
" She is one of the best fighters in the Knights of Ardonia. she beat me in a fight, but due to her age, she is on the lower ranks. i hope she's alright." Hadion said, an odd light in his eyes.
"Thalleous rescued her from the war in similar circumstances to you. she too was one he could rescue out of her family alongside her sister. he took her here because she was a female and he knew they were rare to find after the war due to most casualties on the war being female." Galleous said.
"hence why we're are almost all gone." Hadion pointed out.
"she grew up calling him 'Uncle' since she was close to him. he gave her Skyleap as a gift before he left to hunt Voltaris again. that was the last she heard of him. she then heard Sendaria was attacked and wanted to go there, hoping Thalleous wasn't there. but she had to stay." Galleous continued.
"the Knights came back with bodies from all 4 clans, she wasn't permitted to go to where the Masters were lighting the gravestones with the markings of that fallen Ardonian. she went there later, and came back crying. you should have seen her." Hadion said.
" she just lost Thalleous but was determined to continue his work. she too, it seemed, had been hunting Voltaris since she was 20 years old. she sometimes came home with baby Ardonians, female Ardonians and sometimes a Clanless." Hubris said.
"so she's just like Thalleous? i guess she might have found out who killed Thalleous by now." Senn shook his head.
" we didn't find Thalleous's sword or Songs, so we think Tygren took them." Galleous pointed out.
"wait, his Songs and sword wasn't there? i'm starting to find a pattern." Senn turned in his saddle.
the older Ardonians tilted their heads, not quite catching what Senn was seeing.
"the Sword is an extra weapon, i get that. but i think i know why they took his Songs. if Deathsinger is back, they're going to give them to him since they couldn't find the Prime Songs as an alternative." Senn said exsaperatedly.
the older Ardonians thought of this, then realized the full extent of the Voltaris's plan. Tygren was going to bring back Deathsinger somehow, but he needed the Prime Songs to give him power, since on Mount Velgrin the only things found of the last battle was their Songs. so if Tygren brought Deathsinger from the past, the Songs couldn't follow. therefore the Voltaris was going to find the Prime Songs but Thalleous moved them in time. and in killing Thalleous, they found two Songs. they were going to give the Songs to Deathsinger. and the Knights of Ardonia had Songs on them. so if they died, the Voltaris would give the songs to Deathsinger.
"Arthulilia was like Thalleous, she knew this was coming. Thalleous somehow knew this wasn't over. now look what the world is coming to. we need back-up." Hubris said.
"Igneous went to K'arthen to settle their civil war as they have large armies, which we will need in this time. Voltaris have gotten stronger, the Necromancers are becoming more active and the Ardoni are dwindling. so K'arthen and Cydonia have to help us when things go really bad or they will fall to the Voltaris next." Galleous added.
the group went along, following Skyleap, back to Mount Velgrin to see if the ramaining Knights were alive.
