Chapter Twenty

I turn and kiss Fred. "Well hello to you too." he says when we pull away, my hands on his shoulders, his on my waist.

"Shut up and Kiss me." I tell him with a smile, and he does so.

"Don't I get a hello?" George's voice cause us to seperate.

I turn to him with a smile, "Hello you." I greet giving him a hug.

"Hello you." he returns with a laugh.

"Come on Rose. I need you!" Harry calls to me as he walks past.

I look to the twins a bit sad to separate from them already, "Duty calls. Stay safe." I tell them, rushing to follow Harry.

"You too!" they both shout after me.

We rush through the now student crowded corridor, heading to the Ravenclaw common room. "Harry! Rose!" Ron's shouts, causing us to stop and turn to him with Hermione,  "Hermione and I have been thinking. It doesn't really matter if we find the Horcrux. " Ron tells us.

"What do you mean?" Harry asks confused.

"Unless we can destroy it." Hermione elaborates.

"So we were thinking-" Ron begins.

"You were thinking. It's Ron's idea. And it's brilliant." Hermione cuts in.

"You destroyed Tom Riddle's Diary with a Basilisk fang, right? Well, we know where we might find one, don't we?" Ron explains.

"Okay. Okay. But take this. That way you can find me when you get back." Harry agrees, handing them the Marauders map.

"Where are you going?" Hermione asks, as we continue up the stairs.

"Ravenclaw Common Room." I call out to them.

"Got to start somewhere." Harry adds as we rush up.

"Harry! Rose!" I hear Luna shout after us. She catches up to us. "Wait! I need to talk to you!" she tells us as we push past people who were going down the stairs.

"I'm a bit preoccupied right now, Luna." Harry dismisses her. I hesitate following a bit behind, so that Luna was now next to me.

"But you won't find anything where you're going. You're wasting your time." she explains, making me confused.

"What do you mean Luna?" I question.

"We'll talk later, Luna." Harry dismisses her again.

"Harry" I try to get his attention, having stopped now, wanting to hear Luna out.

"Later!" Harry insisted.

"HARRY POTTER! YOU LISTEN TO ME RIGHT NOW!" Luna shouts at him, making him stop and look towards us.

"Don't you remember what Cho said about Rowena Ravenclaw's diadem: 'There's not a person alive who's seen it.' It's obvious, isn't it?" Luna tells us.

Not a person alive. "We have to talk to someone dead. A Ghost! Oh Luna you genius!" I tell her. Before she can respond, a light comes from the window. Looking out, a defense spell was slowly coming down over the castle grounds.

"It's very impressive isn't it?" Luna comments as we watch the spell reach the ground.

We then follow Luna, seeing as she know just which ghost we need to talk to. "If you're to find her, you'll find her down there." Luna tells us.

"Aren't you coming?" I ask her.

"No, I think it would be best you all talk alone. She's very shy." Luna says as we stop in a doorway. And she leaves us. Harry and I continue, looking for her, hoping she was here to help.

And then we see her, the Grey Lady. "You're the Grey Lady, the ghost of Ravenclaw Tower." Harry speaks up when she looks to us.

"I do not answer to that name." she says going to leave the room. 

"Wait. He's sorry. It's Helena, right? Helena Ravenclaw. Rowena's daughter. I'm in Ravenclaw house, with Luna." I tell her, as she stops behind a pillar.

"You're friends with Luna?" she asks us.

"Yes. She thought you might be able to help us." Harry says.

"You seek my mother's diadem." Helena says bluntley.

"Yes, that's right," Harry replies a bit stunned.

"Luna is kind. Unlike so many of the others, but she was wrong. I cannot help you." Helena says, flying past us.

"Wait, please!" Harry calls out to her. "I want to destroy it." Harry admits to her as she reapears looking out over the Hogwarts ground as spells hit the barrier.

"That's what you want, isn't it, Helena? You want it destroyed." I bring up, as we try and get closer to her from where we were.

"Another swore to destroy it, many years ago, a strange boy with a strange name..." she tells us as we face her.

"Tom Riddle." Harry says, and she nods.

"But he lied." she says.

"He's lied to many people." I reassure her.

"I know what he's done!" she shouts at us, as she quickly flies at us, causing us to stumble back a bit. "I know who he is! He defiled it! With Dark Magic!" she shouts.

She floats away, entering the corridor again, facing away from us as we enter. "I can destroy it once and for all. But only if you tell me where he hid it. You know where he hid it, don't you, Helena? You just have to tell me. Please." Harry says to her, and she slowly turns to look at us.

She looks at Harry, and slowly circles around him, walking through me her eyes not leaving Harry's figures. "Strange... you remind me of him a bit..." she tells him.

She backs away, "It's here. In the castle. In the place where everything is hidden..." she riddles. "If you have to ask, you'll never know. If you know, you need only ask..." she finishes.

Of course. "Thank you." we say to her, and rush off.

We dash down many stairs, passing many students. We reach a crowded corridor when I feel lightheaded. I lean against a wall to regain my balance. "Rose?" Harry questions, before looking off. 

We're having two different reactions to something. Harry's in his head, while I feel drained for a moment. Then a loud thundering noise comes from outside the castle. "Harry. Go." I tell him, having a bad feeling.

"Rose, no, we..." He tries to argue.

"Harry! Listen to me. Just go." I instruct him, pushing him to continue. He looks at me, conflicted, but listens and rushes off.

I rush off after a moment. The sick feeling staying with me. I hear glass breaking off ahead of me. I push myself when I hear people screaming. When I reach I see Harry and Ginny break from a kiss. The Harry dash off again.
