Bryce's P.O.V.
I glanced at my wristwatch for the nth time. It's been almost one hour since all other guests of mine have arrived for my birthday party except one person. One and only Mr. Kyler Grace. Where is he? Why is he not here yet? Should I give him a call or something? No no, that's way too much of a task. Should I drop a text?
I glanced back at the people sitting and busy chatting. Apart from Miley, Timber, Brian and Kimberly, my step sister Becca and her minions were also here. I never wanted to invite Becca. My mom forced me to call her and invite her. I was left with no option. Other than them, Becca's group which comprises of Hana Jules, Kenneth Weasley, Jimmy Joe and Melissa were also present at my birthday party without an invitation. They're Becca's guests. I could've never ever imagined in my nightmare even that the Talk of the school will be attending a party of an unknown personality like me. All thanks to Becca, my popular step sister.
Sighs!!
"Ok, everyone. So, it's our Bru's birthday", Timber said gaining the attention. He had a glass of wine in his hand as he raised a toast.
"On this special occasion, we've reserved the entire cafe till evening just for you guys. You can order whatever you want. Today's a special day because a very special person was born today", he said looking at me and I just smiled.
He's sweet!!
"Oh my god. You two are so adorable", One of the girls amongst Becca's group said. I don't know her name.
Is she stupid?
"Are you guys dating or something?", Another one asked.
Why do they have so much interest in other's life?
"Who is dating who?", Miley walked inside from the kitchen holding a tray with glasses of shakes. She had worn a yellow sunflower dress and man oh man, was she gaining attention? I could notice how these boys were unable to take their eyes off her. I also noticed Timber's possessiveness as well.
These two are so made for each other!!
"No one. We're not dating beautiful ladies. I'm all single", Timber said and the girls just blushed. Timber has a charm of his own. But Miley needs to see that. He loves her so much and she's not at all woke about it. I could lend her my spectacles for a clear vision to see Timber's true love for her.
She's so naive.
"Hey, Bryce. You're the birthday girl. Why are you standing at the main gate? Come, join us", Jimmy said. I gave him a tight smile.
"I need to make a call. I'll join soon", I said and walked out of the cafe. Jimmy and I have been in talking terms only because of that orphanage camp I've visited once or twice. We've not talked that much but can you believe him? He acted so friendly as if we've known each other since ages.
This is the problem with extroverts. They'll make you feel comfortable and at peace once but later they'll be busy with some other person leaving you all alone. They can't stand committed to one single person. Their curiosity and urge to meet different people makes them so busy that you can't just keep them with you. They'll make you the most special one day and nothing at all the other day. I don't trust these social butterflies. I'm gonna date an introvert only.
