"Okay, this is just too freaky I'm getting tingles," Erin said with a giddy smile on her face.

Amaya and I decided to tell our team the events that have been taking place with Rowan and our notes. They know how to keep a secret, but keeping something from them just didn't feel right, especially with certain events that will inevitably take place.

"Your excitement concerns me," I tell her with a grin but I'll admit, these past few weeks have probably been the most intense and exciting thing my team has experienced since we embarked on this mission.

"Isn't weird how collecting allies turned into saving the supernatural world?" She asked, gazing absently into the air.

The rest of the team nodded while we all heard shuffling coming from upstairs. We all tensed and I sighed.

"Okay guys, Elias is waking up, no more saving the supernatural talk," I tell them.

When I told them the truth, I also told them my suspicions of Elias. They know how I feel about him and that I know that he's good deep down, but I know my team and they won't let down their guard so easily.

"Alright well I'm off," Erin said, River right behind her. I gave them both a confused look.

"Where exactly?" I asked in amusement, looking between the two of them suspiciously. Erin caught on to my look and immediately scrunched her face up.

"Noo, Athena, we're not disappearing to do that. No offense River." She says quickly.

"None taken, I'm straight anyways."

I rolled my eyes at them.

"A few of the pack members invited some of us along for one of their perimeter checks." River shrugged. "It could be fun."

"We're not here to have fun," I tell them.

"Okay, then it won't be, promise." River winked before she dragged Erin behind her and out the door where surprisingly, Nolan followed.

I threw my hands up completely perplexed.

"I spoke with the pack doctor here and told her I'd help out with some device she has been working on. I'll catch up with you later?" Amaya smiled, standing up from the couch slowly.

"Have I lost it, or. . ." I shook my head.

Amaya giggled, "Athena, no one forgot about the mission, but in between the serious stuff, life can still go on you know. Everyone here are trained assassins. We'll all be good." Amaya gave my shoulder a squeeze before heading out.

All who are left is Jax, Neveah, Adrianna, and Elias who was still upstairs getting up and around. I looked at the remainder of my team, shrugging at them.

"I assume you guys are also busy?" I asked them in a flat tone.

"Well, we were going for a fly together unless. . ."

I shooed them off, "Go, have fun." I tell them sternly.

"Are you sure Athena, if we're needed here we'll just-"

"You're not. It's fine really."

I knew deep down I was just dreading being alone with Elias. I knew what I had to do but I didn't think I'd be this nervous about it. This will be my attempt at trying to get the truth and I hope it all goes well.

How do I even ease into that talk with him? Hey Elias, due to reasons you aren't allowed to know, it has come to my attention that you are keeping a secret from me that could potentially end all supernatural life.
