The plan we made was already being put into motion. I phone back home and told Kevin and Ariana to call all the alphas and even let Garrett and the polarians know what is going on.

Once the Ethereals found out about everything, the atmosphere changed. The wolves were more irritable and training for them got a lot more intense. Rowan told me that once Alec found out that she was keeping this secret from him for so long, they got into a huge argument but she won't let that slow her down.

I'm worried about her, but if she says she is okay then she is okay.

To make matters even better, Xavier called and he and Vivien are on their way back from Rabelae with something important to share that they didn't want to discuss over the phone. I really hope they have something good about Vinco because that is what I'm counting on.

Rowan was excited to announce that Rabelae will help us with anything we need and though I am grateful, I'm also worried. I'm really hoping that Thomas guy is trustworthy. Everyone here seems to think so but you can never be too sure. He is the grandson of the director.

Currently, my team and I are at the packhouse with Rowan, Alec, and some of their most trusted wolves going over protocols and training sessions. We'll be going over some sort of plan for when we know Vinco's location and have all the notes but until then, this discussion is up in the air.

Elias is back at the guest house under watch by some of Alec's wolves. He knows about everything going on which leads me to believe he might try and escape so I made that impossible. We can't trust him until Xavier returns and I know he is mad at me for it but I can't worry about that.

Sacrifice, I remind myself.

"So Xavier will be here shortly so then we will have Vinco's location, then what? We still need the final note, don't we?" Alec questioned.

"I mean, we've trusted Xenna and the telepath so far. Let's not risk it by not waiting for the note." Rowan said to which we all agreed.

"And you," Alec nodded towards Karina who was practically glued to Neveah's side. She looked up at him wearily before looking back down at her lap. "Where do you fit into this?"

I scoffed at Alec, shaking my head at him. He only shrugged at me.

"What? I get why you wrote a note, and why Rowan wrote a note. . . but her? I don't understand where she fits into all of this." He said, crossing his arms.

"She is one of us." Amaya reiterates.

"There are thousands of aeteri, and out of all of them, the telepath chose her. I'm not trying to belittle her, but she is emotionally unfit to do this mission. I'm speaking like a leader and nothing more." He stated.

I hated to agree, but he's right. He could have said it a bit more sensitively but it's true. She barely opens up to people so how will she help us?

"We can worry about that later," I tell him, trying to get the attention off Karina before she has a breakdown.

"Just for argument sake, we need to form some kind of plan," Rowan starts. "Let's say we have the location. This is an island. How are we getting there? Better yet, how do we even travel without the RAs catching wind?"

I interjected, "Ronno, an RA prisoner that's now in Alpha Amell's prison, said that RAs would capture aeteri that his superiors wanted to be transferred to the island. Maybe that's how we get there. We hitch a ride on one of their ships." I suggested.

A few people nodded while others seemed wary.

"How exactly? The RAs would know." Erin said.

"Can't you just use your powers to fight them off?" One of the wolves asked, making a few of us laugh.
