It was 4 in the afternoon the next day and Saige was getting ready for her date with Rafe. She had gotten a couple texts from Sarah and Kiara but she really didn't feel like talking to them- she was too embarassed at how their day together went. Now, since she got it out of her head that JJ  would be her Pogue in shining armor and sweep her off her feet, her mind was fully focused on Rafe and their date. Well, for the most part.

She walked downstairs in her short dress and heels- Rafe's favorite type of outfit for her to wear.

"You look amazing, baby." Rafe said to his girlfriend with gleaming eyes, although he didn't realize how lucky he was to have her. He often took her for granted and it was all-too-obvious to Saige.

"Thanks handsome, you look rather dashing yourself." Saige said in a posh British accent, making Rafe laugh.

"Why thank you, miss. You ready to head out?" He asked, locking his arm around hers. She agreed, so they went outside and got into Rafe's brand new Range Rover. Rafe had everything at the tip of his fingers.

"Where are we going?" Saige asked him. Rafe told her to dress nicely so she figured it was somewhere decent.

Rafe took her hand into his. "It's a surprise."

The whole car ride, Saige couldn't get JJ out of her head.. why did he act that way? Was she really just some 'Kook' to him? She thought that everything was going so well, especially with John B and Pope. But, they were a group and were always together so there was no way for her to avoid JJ and not hang out with the others.. even though JJ was the one she wanted to see the most.

"You okay?" Rafe asked his girlfriend that he noticed was lost in thought. She did that often.

"Yeah, I'm fine, babe." She looked at him and smiled.

"Good, because we're here." She looked up and saw the the restaurant: Carrington's. Their cheapest meal was no less than $150 a person.

"Whoa, Rafe, are you sure you wanna spend this kind of money on me tonight?"

"I'd go broke for you, baby." He said before getting out of the car, walking around and opening Saige's door for her. In reality, spending money here would be like pocket change for Rafe. The same for Saige but she prefers to be a little more smart with her money than Rafe is. The two walked into the restaurant and were greeted by a spiffy waiter.

"Reservation for Cameron." Rafe said to the man.

"Yes, right on time! Let me lead you out to your table."

They walked outside to the most beautiful thing Saige had ever seen: a secluded table for two decorated with fairy lights, candles and roses, right in front of the beach as the sun was setting.

"Rafe, this is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen..." Saige trailed off, "I don't even know what to say."

"Don't say anything, just enjoy it, baby girl." Rafe made sure Saige was settled into her seat before sitting down himself. The two ordered their drinks.

When the waiter left, Rafe spoke up. "Look, I know things have been a little off and I'm sorry. I've been having a rough time at home, dad has been wanting me to take more responsibility when it comes to the business side of things and it's not too easy. He threatened to kick me out unless I clean up my act," Rafe sighed, "I'm sorry, babe."

While Saige knew he'd always been that way she learned not to test it. "It's alright, Rafe, I promise. We all get a little stressed sometimes."

After the apology they talked about the summer and made plans together. This was no problem for Saige, she knew she had nobody else to hang with anyways so she agreed to everything Rafe said. They left around 9 that night and had a great time. It gave Saige hope that things could start getting better for her and Rafe, especially since she no longer had to worry about being around those Pogues anymore.
