Saige's parents had just drove off for her dads business trip and her brother decided to tag along too, they invited her to come but there was no way she wasn't gonna take the opportunity to be at home by herself for two days. Right after they left, Saige called Kiara.

"Hello?" Kiara asked into the phone.

"Kie I need you to come over, JJ is coming over tonight and I'm freaking out!"

"What the hell, are you serious? I'll be there in five!"

It was 1pm so Saige had time to straighten up before JJ got there. She did a quick clean of the downstairs area (even though her mom normally kept the home immaculate since they had constant visitors) before Kiara got there.

"Alright, what's this about JJ coming over?" Kiara asked right when she walked in the door.

"I asked him when he dropped me off yesterday after I spent the night."

"What do you mean you spent the night? Why don't you ever tell me this stuff? Come on, Saige!"

"I'm sorry, Kie!" Saige laughed, "It's just happening so fast. It's hard to keep up."

"Do you like him? I mean, you were just with Rafe. Sarah told me he's screwed up over it." Kie told her seriously.

"That was Rafe's problem, did he really expect me stick around when he was abusing me? No way, not when JJ treats me like gold."

"Look, JJ would be great to you but he's not perfect. He would never hurt you but he has problems at home and they affect his mood a lot, he gets aggravated fast and he's stubborn. I just want to warn you before you get too far with him, I love you and want what's best for you."

"Thanks, Kie," Saige said to her friend, "his dad did walk in on us yesterday morning. It was quite awkward if you ask me."

"Wait, did you two...?" Kiara trailed off.

"What? No! No, we were just kissing but it was still weird."

The two laughed and they hung out for the rest of the day. Kiara told Saige about Pope confessing his feelings for her and she didn't know her feelings for him. They also spoke about their parents high expectations for them and how they sometimes wished they could just run away. Not everyone understands how hard it can be to be a Kook, their parents want them to be just like them or they are basically failures.

"Oh God, JJ's on his way." Saige said nervously when she looked at her phone to see a text from him saying "headed there now."

"Well then, guess that's my sign to leave before I get caught up in something I don't wanna be caught up in." Kiara said and got up from Saige's bed. When she looked over at Saige she saw how nervous she was, sighed, and walked back over.

"Hey, you're gonna be fine. JJ is a good guy and he told me he really likes you. Just be yourself."

"Thanks, Kie." Saige said to her friend and gave her a hug. She walked Kiara out and a few minutes later, JJ pulled up.

"Hey, beautiful." JJ said when Saige let him inside. She saw he had a bag that had his clothes for the next day which excited Saige- she knew he was really spending the night.

"How've you been?" She asked him while they walked up to her room.

"Good. I missed you, though." He told her. She could feel the butterflies in her stomach going crazy. Something about him drove her insane.
