My father woke up the next day, delirious from thirst. After I had fixed this particular problem, I bombarded him with questions.
"Are you ok? What happened? Is my family ok? Where's Shredder? Why are there so many Kraang?" After a few minutes, my father held up a hand.
"I don't know what happened to our family." And then he broke into tears. It was awkward, comforting the crying adult, but I have to admit, I shed some tears too. After a while, his tears subsided.
"So, Karai...I don't know anything about you." He said awkwardly.
"Well, what do you want to know?" I asked curiously.
"Everything."
"Well, I'm 17 now. My favorite color is red, I hate snakes, and I love eating sushi." I said. He nodded, and then stood up with a purpose.
"We're going to find our family if it's the last thing we do." He declared.
"We should check outside the city limits. The whole city is Kraangified, and I think Leo mentioned something about a house." I offered.
"We'll start looking tomorrow morning." Father said. He immediately laid down, and went back to sleep.
After waiting a few minutes, I pulled out my bag. I drew out my phone, and called Leo. I hit the answering machine, and gasped when I heard the voice.
"Hey this is Leo! If you missed me, I'll try to call you back in a few days." His voice was deeper; he sounded like an adult. What happened to him?
